By Cory Strode on 2026-03-23 00:41:00

AEW Collision Slam Dunk Sunday was recorded after Dynamite Wednesday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

The Twist (Lee Johnson and Jay Lethal) Blake Christian vs Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong

Lethal stalls before the bell and starts with Roddy and I am getting massive nostalgia vibes. Lethal does the strut. They quickly move to mat work until Lethal forces them into the ropes. Roddy fights his way to the center of the ring. Lethal gets a knee strike and Roddy gets a leg lariat and Lethal comes off the ropes. Roddy forces Lethal to his corner, tags in Cassidy and then throws Cassidy into him., Cassidy and Roddy double team Lethal.

Lethal rakes the eyes and tags in Lee. They double-team Cassidy and cover for two. Cassidy and Lee go back and forth until Lee gets a rollup for two. They trade waistlocks. Lee gets a full Nelson and Cassidy gets his hands in his pockets to escape. They run the ropes and Cassidy gets a drop-kick. Lethal gets in the ring and grabs the drop-kick. Cassidy kicks him off to the flor and Roddy tries for a dive, but Lethal gets a clothesline on him. In the ring, Cassidy takes a clothesline for Lee.

Lee gets a slatting vertical suplex for two as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Cassidy has been the babyface in peril. Cassidy is able to leap over Lee, and then kicks free of Lethal to get the tag to Roddy, who cleans house. Roddy gets a fallaway slam on Lee for two before he tags in Cassidy. Lee shoves Roddy into the turnbuckle where Cassidy is on top. Roddy is tossed from the ring. Lethal dives into the Roddy, and Lee blocks stundog millionaires and then gets a brainbuster. Lethal gets the King’s elbow and Lee covers for two, broken up by Roddy. Cassidy gets a stundog on Lethal.

Roddy charges into him and then tosses Cassidy at Lee for a DDT. Blake gets on the apron and when he grabs Roddy, Cassidy nails him with an Orange Punch. Cassidy then dives onto Lethal. Roddy hits the end of heartache on Lee and tosses Cassidy onto Lee for the pin and the win.

Winners: Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong.

Roddy grabs a mic and says he owes us an explanation. He was around the Conglomeration because of Kyle, When Kyle was gone and when he said a change needed to happen. The change has happened and he is now in the Conglomeration.

On the big screen, The Dogs say that Roddy cheated, and the more they try to separate them, the more they want to hurt. So Clark Conners and David Finley challenge them to a match next week.

We get a promo from Willow Nighting Gale and Harley Cameron want a rematch with Divine Dominion.

Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions vs The Already In The Ring Alex Garcia and Vipress

Kross and Bayne go through their big moves and Vipress doesn’t even get to take her t-shirt off before she takes the two woman slam and is pinned by Bayne.

Winners: Divine Dominion

Tommaso Ciampa vs Lio Rush

Rush shows his new look, a bald head, blank contact lenses, no more silly jacket, and he comes to the ring crawling and laughing like a super villain.  Nigel says it is inspired by Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

Rush calls for a handshake and Ciampa kicks it away. They run the ropes and Rush knocks Ciampa to the floor before diving into him. Rush whips Ciampa into the barricade and they brawl around the ring. Ciampa rolls Rush into the ring and Rush gets a rollup for one only. Rush gets a tejaris out of the corner and then they fight in the corner with Ciampa shoving Rush’s shoulder into the ring post and to the floor.

Ciampa lays in chops on the floor and then rolls Rush into the ring again. Ciampa lays in stomps and then gets a neckbreaker. Ciampa bites Rush’s hand and then chops Rush down. Rush gets a series of strikes and misses a cross body off the ropes and Ciampa drops below his leap. Ciampa gets a kitchen sink knee and covers for two. Ciampa stomps on Rush’s hand and then lays in more chops.

Ciampa misses a kick and Rush misses a running kick as well. Rush lays in a quick series of chops and then hits a spin kick. Rush goes for a comebacker DDT and Ciampa kicks him in the back of the head. Rush escapes a power bomb, hits a thrust kick and hits the comebacker DDT for two. Rush goes to the top and Ciampa rolls out of the way. Rush lowers himself slowly. They run the ropes and go back and forth until he gets two stunners on Ciampa. Rush slams Ciampa with a blue thunder bomb for two.

They trade forearms and strikes, and they then bite each other’s hands. Rush gets a spin kick and Ciampa gets a hammer throw on Rush into the corner. Rush falls to the floor and Ciampa follows him and rolls him in the ring for Project Ciampa for two. Ciampa gets a running knee strike for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

Rush’s new persona, and the screeching is disturbing, which is the point. Don’t know if it is a better one than when he was in a tag team with Action Andretti, but since that wasn’t going anywhere, it might be a good move on his part.

There is a hype video for Kenny Omega vs Swerve Strickland with MJF saying he will beat whoever wins their match.

Mistico and Jetspeed (Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) vs Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, and El Clon)

Clon and Mistico start the match, but the Family attack before the lock-up and toss everyone to the floor where they start brawling. Clon and Bailey are in the ring as things calm down and they run the ropes. Josh gets in the ring and it’s time for everyone to get a big move on the last person in the ring. Clon and Mistico fight in the ropes and Mistico fights off all of the Family until it’s back to Mistico and Clon. Mistico gets a spinning tejaris and Clon is whipped to the floor.

All of Mistico’s team dives onto the Family as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Bailey was the babyface in peril through the break. Josh Alexander is not involved in the match any longer as he was taken to the back for an injury in the break. Bailey gets a thrust kick on Takeshita and crawls to his corner for a tag to Knight. Knight gets a series of kicks and Takeshita stops him. Knight escapes a blue thunder bomb the first time, but Takeshita gets it with the second attempt for two.

They block moves from each other until Knight gets a spike DDT and they both crawl to their corners.

Clon and Mistico tag in and Clon gets a tilt a whirl backbreaker for two. Clon gets a second pin for two. Mistico gets a kick as Clon is on the ropes and then Mistico springboards off the top ropes into a hurricanrana on Clon for two broken up by Takeshita. Bailey tosses Takeshita to the floor. Clon runs up the ropes for a moonsault but misses. Mistico gets a tejaris forcing Clon to the floor and Mistico goes to the top to dive on everyone at the floor.

Clon is rolled into the ring and Mistico covers for two. Knight gets a tag and comes off the top, but Clon avoids the splash. Clon gets a whip to the corner and a springboard moonsault for two. Knight gets a clothesline on Clon and Takeshita gets a running knee without tagging in. Takeshita and Knight fight in the corner and Knight gets a leaping clothesline on Takeshita.

Mistico gets a flying crossbody on Clon and then grabs the arm bar for Clon to tap out.

Winners and still Trios Champions: Mistico and Jetspeed
