TED DIBIASE JR. COMMENTS AFTER NOT GUILTY VERDICT

By Mike Johnson on 2026-03-20 18:30:00

Former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr. spoke with WAPT Television in Jackson, MS after a jury determined he was not guilty:

DiBiase said, "They got it right and I give all the glory to God. I give all the credit to my Lord and Savior to Sidney Lampton, Scott Gilbert, Eric Kirschman. I think that they did an amazing job of portraying truth and seven years of being slandered and, made to be something that is completely false, is about torn my family apart, but we're strong and I've had so many friends and okay, so much family that have come around us and we, I'm proud that we've walked through this and I'm so thankful that it's over."

On whether he ever doubted he would be found not guilty, DiBiase said, "I left it in God's hands and whatever the verdict was today, I was okay with it. Man makes his plans, God directs his steps."

When asked what was going through his mind when he heard the word not guilty, DiBiase commented, "It still hadn't, it still hadn't sank in.  It's just been so long that this cloud has lived over me and I'm just grateful for it to be over and I'm grateful that I get to go home to my children and I will remain with them."

On what he was going to do now, DiBiase said, "I don't know. I might go cut my grass today. I'm gonna live again and I'm gonna continue to serve people because that really is who I am and I do care about every Mississippian and to all the doubters or haters or people that have maybe. Have false information and not all the information. I forgive you and I love you too."
