Corey Graves welcomed everyone as they showed AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer walking through the back, followed by La Parka, Santos Escobar, El Grande Americano Original and finally El Grande Americano.
They showed Hijo del Vikingo arriving with Doran Roldan and Omos. If he loses tonight, he can never challenge for the AAA Mega Championship again. If Dom loses the title, he must leave AAA.
They went into the cold open.
Corey Graves, JBL and Rey Mysterio are the announce team. They sent well wishes to Konnan.
Rey Fenix made his way to the ring. He said it was a blessing to be back in Puebla with the fans and said tonight, everyone makes history together. He promised a lot of surprises for the fans and said one of them is very special for Mexico and lucha libre. He's one of us. He introduced his brother, WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta. Penta came to the ring. Fenix went to leave, but Penta told him to stay. He said they were supposed to reunite but Penta was injured and Rey Mysterio had to take his spot. He asked Fenix if the fans would like to see the Lucha Brothers again. The crowd chanted for them. Penta said he had news for everyone. They teased the pair teaming up again. They said if the Mexican fans want it, they can have it. They were born in AAA and made in Mexico and it's time for our people to see us together one more time as the best tag team in the universe.
Penta said tonight is a big night as Rey de Reyes has been ongoing for decades. He namechecked former winners, including Hijo del Vikingo. The crowd crapped on Vikingo. He said four gladiators will have the chance to win the sword and go after the champion. He will crowd a new winner tonight. Penta then dedicated his Intercontinental Championship to all the fans. The title isn't just his, it's for all of you who get up every day to work hard in life for your dreams. He said its for representation for all the beautiful people who fight every day. He's not going to put the belt on the line on Raw, but also here in Mexico. He told everyone in the back he would be waiting for them to step forward. He welcomed everyone to the show.
AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer open challenge
The mystery challenger was Bayley, who received a big reaction. The announcers noted that Flammer was one day away from breaking the record for longest title reign.
They locked up as the crowd chanted for Bayley. Bayley took Flammer to the mat and locked on a side headlock. Flammer slipped out and grabbed a hammerlock. Bayley fought to her feet and took her back down. They grappled and then faced off. Bayley drilled her and sent Flammer to the floor. Bayley nailed a dropkick on the floor and brought the champ back into the ring for a two count.
Flammer fought back and knocked Bayley to the floor, then hit a tope to the floor. She brought Bayley back in and nailed a running elbow. Flammer choked Bayley against the ropes. She sent Bayley into the ring post and locked in a rear chinlock. Bayley fought her way out and nailed a series of strikes before hitting a back suplex. Flammer was sent to the apron outside and drilled with neckbreaker for a two count. Bayley's attempt at a Bayley to Belly failed but Bayley rebounded with a knee strike and then sent the champ into the buckles.
Bayley nailed the Bayley to Belly and scored a two count. Flammer worked her over and nailed a Codebreaker but Bayley kept kicking up. The fans kept chanting for Bayley. They battled to the top, where Flammer was sent back down to the ring. Bayley nailed her with an elbow. The other Toxictas ran out. That distraction allowed Flammers to send Bayley into an exposed buckle and nail a double knee to the face for the pin.

Rey de Reyes - La Parka vs. El Grande Americano Original vs. El Grande Americano vs. Santos Escobar to determine top contender for AAA Mega Championship.
Everyone battled. Original chopped La Parka. Parka nailed a tiltowhirl backbreaker. Original sent him up and over to the apron but was caught with a crossbody from the top. Santos knocked him to the floor, then faced off with Americano. Americano nailed a kick but was caught running into the corner. He drilled Escobar with a right hand. Original crotched hikm on the top. Parka nailed a missile dropkick, sending Escobar to the floor. Parka nailed a springboard moonsault to the floor on everyone. Parka nailed a knee strike and hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Original for a two count. Original came back with a Hotshot. He began attacking Parka's arm.
The battle continued. Original nailed a Northern Lights suplex on Escobar for a two count. The Americanos locked on stereo submissions. Original was hiptossed onto Americano. Escobar and Parka faced off and battled. Parka was caught on the top. Escobar nailed a standing superplex for a two count. Parka missed a standing moonsault. Original nailed a German suplex on both Parka and Escobar at the same time. Americano broke up the pinfall. He drilled Original with a series of punches. Original ripped at his mask and nailed a Fisherman's Buster. Escobar nailed a superkick on Original for a close two count.
Americano and Original each put foreign objects in their masks. They drilled each other and wiped the other out. Parka hit a frog splash on Original but Escobar made the save. Escobar and Parka nailed double-clotheslines and wiped each other out. The crowd chanted, "This is lucha." Original and Americano brawled into the crowd and out of the arena. Parka and Escobar kept fighting. Parka missed a moonsault and was covered by Escobar, who kicked up. Escobar nailed a TKO onto a chair and covered him for another two count.
Americano returned to ringside from the crowd. In the crowd, Rayo and Bravo Americano were beating down Original. They handcuffed him to a a safety rail in the crowd. Americano missed a diving headbutt into the buckles. Escobar went to grab a chair but someone wearing his old mask used the chair to attack him. Americano drilled him and scored the pin.

AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Hijo de Vikingo: No DQ.
They faced off and argued at the bell. Vikingo went to the floor and grabbed a Singapore Cane. Dom went to the floor and grabbed one of his own. They clashed with them before brawling. Dom nailed a dropkick but was caught with a series of armdrags. Viikingo drilled Mysterio in the corner but Dom avoided a charge. Vikingo nailed a spinkick and a dropkick to the back of the head. He returned to the floor, grabbing a steel chair. Vikingo flung a chair into Dom's face, Sabu-style. Vikingo dropkicked Dom off the apron to the floor and threw him into the stairs.
Dom was sat in a chair in the aisle. Vikingo nailed a tope con hilo, wiping out Dom in the chair. He controlled Dom in the ring, wearing him down and even biting him. Dom fired back with right hands and forearms. Vikingo missed a charge in the corner. Dom began lighting him up with cane shots. Mysterio nailed The Three Amigos. Vikingo fired back with chops but was hit with a Michinoku Driver. Dorian Roldan hit the ring to break up the pinfall. He realized he was caught with Dom and backed off but before Dom could nail him, Omos came down to the ring.
Mysterio grabbed a cane to challenge him but was rolled up for a two count. Dom clotheslined Vikingo. Dom grabbed a trash can but Omos grabbed it and threw it at Dom, wiping him out. Vikingo trashed him with the can across the back. Vikingo nailed a brutal double stomp from the ropes but Dom kicked out. Vikingo celebrated with the Mega Championship, putting it on and going for a frog splash with it. Dom moves and went for a 619 but Omos snatched him and slammed Dom on the apron. Omos grabbed a chokeslam and nailed Dom with it. Omos put Vikingo on the top but Mini Vikingo hit the ring and nailed a rana off the top. He challenged Omos, who grabbed him but Dom kicked Omos low. Dom unloaded on chairs on everyone and hit a 619 on Vikingo.
Dom went to the top and hit a frog splash for the pin.

Vikingo can not challenge Mysterio for the title again.
