WWE's lucha promotion AAA will hold the 2026 Rey de Reyes event tomorrow, with one hour airing live and the remainder airing over the following two weeks. The currently announced lineup:
Tomorrow, Saturday 3/14:
*AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Hijo de Vikingo: No DQ.
*La Parka vs. El Grande Americano Original vs. El Grande Americano vs. Santos Escobar to determine top contender for AAA Mega Championship.
*WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta to appear, will present traditional Rey de Reyes sword to victor.
*AAA Reina de Reyes Champion Flammer will defend her tite.
3/21:
*AAA Tag Team Champions Pagano and Psycho Clown vs. The War Raiders
Broadcast Date to be announced:
*AAA Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid vs. Dragon Lee vs. TJP vs. Jack Cartwheel.
Latin Lover commented on Konnan's health on his Instagram while live streaming, noting that he texted with the lucha legend and that Konnan told him he's trying to get back on track and is dealing with his health. While nothing has been officially announced, reports out of Mexico have been that Konnan was hospitalized and forced to undergo an amputation of one of his legs.
AAA will return to Mexico City on 4/11 for another TV taping.
There are no current plans for AAA to run yet in The United States, although it's possible there could be matches at WWE World in Las Vegas featuring their talent.
The next big AAA event after tomorrow will be 5/30 in Monterrey. The title of the show will be announced tomorrow.
