The Ballsy Badass is doubling down on MLW. Shotzi inks contract with the league and is set to return to the ring Saturday in Atlanta.
One of the most distinctive and unpredictable fighters in wrestling is officially staying put. Shotzi has signed with Major League Wrestling, solidifying her future in the league after an undefeated run that has quickly made her one of the league’s most talked-about wrestlers.
The news was first reported by Sports Illustrated, which detailed Shotzi’s decision to remain with MLW following her recent success in the promotion. In the interview, the fan-favorite made it clear that the league’s creative approach and support for her played a major role in her decision.
According to the report, Shotzi praised the creative environment within Major League Wrestling, saying the promotion truly understands her vision and persona.
“They’ve invested in me creatively,” Shotzi told Sports Illustrated. “I’ve never had a company understand my character more than MLW.”
Shotzi added that the freedom to explore her unique style and storytelling within MLW is something she hasn’t experienced elsewhere.
“I feel like I’m in my own pro wrestling horror movie in MLW,” she said. “It’s about being so creative… MLW takes it to a whole different level with creativity.”
Her enthusiasm for the promotion was unmistakable, as she summed up her feelings about the league in simple terms.
“That’s why it’s my favorite place.”
Shotzi debuted in MLW in 2025 and quickly became a central figure in the league’s women’s division, bringing her signature mix of chaos, charisma, and fearless in-ring style to MLW’s global audience.
Her signing ensures that MLW fans will continue to see the “Ballsy Badass” unleash her brand of mayhem as the league continues its momentum heading into a packed slate of upcoming events and television tapings.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see her back in action.
Shotzi will next compete this Saturday, March 14 when Major League Wrestling returns to Atlanta for an MLW FUSION TV taping at Center Stage.
