Spotlight Match: Bobby Casale vs Erik Chacha
Chacha’s partner Jake Gray is out for a few months with a broken jaw so it’s time for Erik to establish himself. Unfortunately, Bobby eats all of the kicks, lariats the life out of Chacha and hits a Bobbinator for the win.
Match 1: Tyler Jordan vs Sammy Diaz
So….Tyler is “untouchable” so Worcester declared him an incel. Incredible. Sammy rolling fast but Jordan is ALLLLLL power. Sammy and Jordan go back and forth, Jordan really wanting that butterfly powerbomb but Sammy rolls the third attempt for the three! Jordan is furious, attacks Sammy from behind, hits the bomb and leaves Top Five laying…but Tyler is still a LOSER.
Match 2: Amira vs Liviyah
Amira is the tower of power but Liviyah wants to proves she can match her strength, before she enters the WWR tournament for tomorrow next week. It was not to be though. She managed to get her nose and elbow bloodied up in a VERY game fight…but Amira almost wins with a rollup into her finish…and then stands up and puts Liv’s light out with a spinning back elbow for the three. Liv looks frustrated even though Amira holds her hand up. This is two losses in a row for her as Amira picks up her first Open win.
Match 3: BRG (w/ Oxx Adams) vs AZ
BRG says he would love to fight AZ but his shoulder hurts so Oxx is gonna fight instead. Yeah sure. You’re hurt. BRG is the f***ing worst.
Match 3: Oxx Adams (w/ BRG) vs AZ
“You’re scared to fight ME” says AZ to BRG. AZ shows some resilience for Oxx’s opening strikes but he ends up flying into the big man’s grip and eats a Burning Hammer for the win. They go to attack AZ but Erik Chacha runs in with a chair and takes out Oxx’s knee! BRG tries to save face but Erik challenges his “b**** a**” to a match next week. Worcester grips into that as a chant and BRG is UPSET. This is great. The energy is a little wild tonight.
Match 4: The Rogues (Eliot Tyler & Casey Ferreira) vs Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn)
It doesn’t matter how often we turn over the audience, WAVES & CURLS OWN THE NIGHT in terms of crowd pop. They absolutely destroy Casey early on until Jaelyn gets caught up in the bad part of town. Jordan gets the hot tag and that sets up Casey for a wave check and the three, fantastic
Match 5: Tyree Taylor vs Jariel Rivera
The rematch reel reminds me that Ray Jaz came back and screwed Tyree over in the #1 Contenders Tournament. Jariel has that WWE ID contract but…no one cares. Rivera does get some offense in, to make Tyree look human. But Taylor hits a torture rack world’s strong slam and the Brooklyn zoo bomb ends Rivera’s night. Beautiful. Tyree congratulates Fancy Ryan Clancy….but Tyree’s coming up on him again. But now, he has some words for Ray Jaz. Tyree’s been here week in and week out while Ray’s been shaking a** dressed as a firefighter at Savannah Banana games. Taylor is coming for Jaz.
Match 6: DJ Powers vs Eye Black Jack
This has become a war of attrition between these two but win or lose, Powers seems to stand tall over Jack. Powers clearly doesn’t want this match as he evacuates the ring quickly. Jack gives chase and chops him up on the apron! At this point, they know each other’s moves up pretty well, so Powers is pulling out of his bag of tricks, but Jack is right there to counter them. And yet through all of this DJ wants to get the approval of the crowd as he taunts us and asks us who sucks now. Obviously, he does. Jack tries a slingshot kick but it doesn’t land well…the Impaler connects but he just didn’t do enough on that combo to get the three. They trade loud chops….DJ right in Jack’s face. He tackles Powers and throws hand but DJ grabs a triangle choke. Jack is fading but he bombs him out and gets a two count . DJ with a sunset flip bomb but Jack won’t stay down! Powers grabs the chain he decked Jack with…Jack gets it but the refs takes it away…and that’s when DJ clocks Jack with a set of brass knuckles and gets the three. Boooooooooo!
Our new Wrestling Open Champion and the first 2-time Open champ, Fancy Ryan Clancy, is here to…gloat? The crowd is pretty split. Here’s here to say one this: “I TOLD YOU SO!”. Clancy says that Bobby Orlando was a great champion. He offers a rematch anytime. But he’s also here to put the Open roster on notice. This is going to be the greatest Open title reign since…Ryan Clancy. He asked Open officials “who’s next”…he invites his next challenger to make themselves known…it’s A-Game Joseph Alexander! “Ryan, I love you. I respect you. I don’t TRUST you.” - he doesn’t buy that the eye rakes on Bobby were an accident. He doesn’t like how Clancy treats Ichiban, Cranston or the people of Worcester. If Clancy wants to prove himself as a fighting champion, he puts the belt on the line next Thursday! Clancy says he has nothing to prove….the crowd has finally had enough of this….Clancy is ready to “lead by example” and accepts. All the words are right but his tone is wrong. No one trusts this. No one trusts Ryan Clancy.
Main Event: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Danny Miles w/ Bobby Casale)(c) vs Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister & Love Doug w/ TJ Crawford) (for the Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships)
Brian Morris is not cleared to compete tonight so Danny Miles is defending in his stead. These teams HAAAAATE each other and the the brawl spills to the floor right at the bell. This is ALL big Business to start but the Ranch does what the ranch does and takes control in heinous ways. Doug with the hot tag and he could finish Miles but Steve kicks him in the head on the Rebound. Doug eats a huge beating but Bacon recovers for the second hot tag! Huge beating on the Ranch but that numbers game is ROUGH. Doug in to help, Danny eats a Hart Attack Blockbuster for two! Stetson pops up Bacon to eat a Miles high spear. The Ranch tries Business is Booming but Bacon slips free and tags Doug! Bacon feigns like he’s gonna join the Ranch…even Stetson is fooled?! Bacon tosses Danny, Doug flies out after! Tornado Jackhammer to Stetson! Kickout noooooo! Another big tandem slam off the corner to Stetson but Bobby Casale pulls ref bill out of the ring. Ref bill misses BRIAN MORRIS running on and clocking Big Business with the title belts! He drapes Stetson over Doug for the…DOUG KICKS OUT!!!! This is bonkers. Danny goes to hit Doug with the belt but he gets a face full of flowe petals…Danny takes out Steven with the belt! Big Business hits Business is Boooming on Danny! That’s the Three! WE HAVE NEW WRESTLING OPEN TAG CHAMPS!!!! What a crazy night!
