Thoughts on Danhausen in WWE? I don't see him belonging in WWE after that debut.
It's the same as I feel about professiona wrestling. If it's something that people want to see and enjoy and are willing to pay for it, it belongs. He's just a few weeks in and by his third appearance, fans were doing his "cursed" catchphrase, so it's clicking. I wrote after the Elimination Chamber that I believe his debut was booed because he showed up and then the segment was over and he disappeared, leaving the fans to wonder what the hell they were watching. I don't think it was an indictment on his potential as a character.
Has there been any update on Kevin Owens?
No, I haven't anything definitive. He's been at the WWE PC to film WWE LFG's new season but beyond that, I haven't heard anything about his recovery from neck surgery.
How can anyone on Twitter write and say you had the Tyra Mae Steele story wrong? I'm confused by it all.
This is the first I've heard that anyone said that, but given Twitter is basically the equivalent of graffiti on a wall, not really surprised. Steele sent out her tweet, which led to the site getting over 40 emails between the time she wrote it and I posted the initial story, which quoted what she said, writing about being "let go" and noted she was still listed on WWE's roster and that we reached out to WWE for clarification. Within an hour, we heard back from multiple people in the company, confirmed what she was referencing, a dream, and updated the story, noting the update and even noting we were changing the headline due to that update. We covered a story based on reader interest, noted what was said, noted we were trying to follow up with WWE and then when we did, updated. That's how this is supposed to work. I don't know what anyone else could want, but my guess is the commentary is coming from those who don't read/support/know anything about what we do here.
What is the point in WWE owning AAA? It just seems like it's just a show floating around and nothing important.
Well, it may not be important to you, but I'm sure fans in Mexico could beg to differ. They purchased it so they could have a foothold in Latin America. It doesn't need to be as massive as Raw or Smackdown to make the company money, but we'll see if they get there.
What brand is Danhausen on?
We are told he's currently listed internally as a free agent.
Odds of Jellyroll wrestling again?
I think it's pretty fair to say he'll be doing something in the ring down the line.
What do you think should be the next WWE Hall of Fame Immortal Moment induction?
I think the first great Wrestlemania match was Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat at Wrestlemania III. To me, that's the choice.
