So the US gov't has urged Americans to leave Saudi Arabia and not to travel there. Obviously, plenty can happen in a year, but if the travel advisory is still there, how many months in advance does WWE have to pivot to WrestleMania in 2027 to Minneapolis or another city on the waiting list? I gotta think it's not later than Summerslam. Do you think they'd just bump the Saudi location back a year, like they did with the pandemic WrestleMania by bumping Tampa a year forward?

I have been told that they will take a really hard look at where things stand by the time summer comes.  Luckily, they will have options since football teams don’t use their stadiums in April.  But yes, with what is going on in the Middle East it doesn’t look like a slam dunk that WWE will be in Saudi Arabia next year.  That doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but things are very volatile right now and I could see Iran wanting to send a message by destroying the American institution that is WrestleMania.

Why is the new Nielsen ratings system hurting pro wrestling more than over genres of programming? Did the old way overestimate how many people watched pro wrestling?

It was hurting pro wrestling and then they made whatever change it was that they made and now numbers are up from where they were.  Nielsen has always been an inexact science to me.  Extrapolation a small sample size to represent millions of people is an educated guess, at best.

Has there been a more worthless champion than Jade Cargill? She’s defended the belt what? One time I think since she’s won it? She isn’t on tv most weeks, she has moments on the mic but is definitely green, in the ring she’s fine but not exceptional. I get she passes the eye test but she’s been the definition of an absentee champion. People used to get on Roman for not showing up but this woman has earned nothing and taken everything so far. Obviously WWE is driving the ship and making the call in how she is or in this case isn’t used but they have done her no favours by putting her at the top and then hiding her away. Do you think her winning at Mania would help establish her or just piss off the fans who don’t feel she deserves the spot she’s already been handed?

Her title reign has been flat, for sure.  I too would like to see her do more, or anything, to show she is a champion who deserves the belt.  I think the next six weeks will go a long way towards letting us know who she is and where she stands in WWE.  If Rhea takes the belt, that would tell me something.

I was reading the QA around Dom losing the IC title. I have seen so much growth in his character and ring work over the years. I could see him being a future world champion but I also see him being a widely popular face. He has face-tendencies despite doing heel things. He always looks like the more well-meaning member of the group who is loyal and there is a naiveness to how he acts with the Judgment Day backstage that makes a switch much easier. But the way he has treated his dad makes it hard to turn him face until he makes peace with his father. What works better…Rey Mysterio taking a heinous beating at the hands of the Vision or Gunther and having Dom show his true feelings by coming out to save his dad? This would put him in the main event scene and could lead to a great Wrestlemania moment where Gunther retires his dad and Dom comes in the ring and they embrace. Thoughts?

I definitely see him turning face one day.  I also see that making up with Rey has to be part of the process.  There are a lot of ways to get there.  I hope they do it in such a way that the fans are calling for it well before it happens.
