Is it possible WWE could pivot their plans again after you reported what the WWE Championship direction is expected to be for Wrestlemania?

Until it happens on live TV, they could always change it for any reason, even if their reason was to make it appear the reporting was wrong.  It's their show.  They can do whatever they want, whenever they want, whether it's the right call or not.

I watched the great Jarrett documentary and it made me wonder, whatever happened to the AEW story where he was chasing one last title run?  I don't think anyone really expected him to pull a Terry Funk, but MJF vs. Jarrett doing Memphis style brawls could have been a lot of fun.

I've never heard a definitive answer as to what happened there beyond the story was dropped.  I was really looking forward to it.  Maybe they will pick up the thread of that story down the line.

With the Peacock deal being done, so the chances of watching old ECW content is pretty much gone forever? That really sucks if true.

I understand you want to watch the content, but the WWE Network launched in 2014.  You had 12 years, including Peacock, to watch it!  No word yet if or where it pops back up, but there was talk of WWE launching an ECW YouTube channel.

Back when NXT was putting reporters on the Kickoff shows, were you ever approached?

I was not, but I told after it was discontinued I was on their list of potential guests.  I don't think I would have done it.  It wasn't anything I was truly interested in doing.   my goal in doing this was to write about wrestling and at 51, I'm not trying to be an on-screen personality.  I want to be on my laptop writing.

I recently saw an old interview with Ricky Steamboat on YouTTube. In the interview he talked about WWE's grueling traveling schedule in the mid '80's after WrestleMania 2 how they went from Los Angeles (for Mania)the to Sydney,Australia the next day then flying to Brisbane Australia then to Ontario Canada a few days after that .What I'd like to know is who changed the touring schedule to what pretty much became the standard 4 or 5 days per week and why was it changed

I think when the company saw a downturn in popularly in the early 1990s, that was the first reason for the change.  Then, they added a live Raw taping every Monday every few weeks in NYC in 1993, so that meant talents had to be in NYC Sunday and Monday, so that changed the touring schedule.  TV began to become more of a revenue driver vs. something used to push people to house shows, which meant fewer house shows.  I don't think there was ever a major epiphany as opposed to it happened over a slow period of time.

Is there a way to still subscribe to the WWE Network?

I believe the international version will be shutting down in the next few months, so likely not even worth the effort.

Why does Dave answer four questions and you answer six?

He does four days a week and I do three.  It pretty much evens out in the end.
