WWE Superstars CM Punk and AJ Lee Surprise PAWS Chicago with $10,000 Grant and Championship Title Belt
FEBRUARY 27, 2026 (CHICAGO) – The WWE Community Champions program spotlights local nonprofits by bringing WWE talent onsite for a hands-on volunteer experience, followed by a grant presentation and personalized WWE title belt recognizing their impact.
During their visit to PAWS Chicago’s Lincoln Park Adoption Center, CM Punk and AJ Lee toured the facility, met adoptable pets and rolled up their sleeves to help care for the animals. They socialized and comforted dogs and cats of all ages, then personally delivered enrichment treats to eager canine residents.
At the conclusion of the visit, CM Punk and AJ Lee presented PAWS Chicago with a $10,000 grant to support the organization’s No Kill mission to save homeless pets. They also unveiled a custom WWE Championship title belt, symbolizing PAWS Chicago as true “champions” for animals in the community.
“We are incredibly grateful to WWE, CM Punk, and AJ Lee for spending their time with our animals and for this generous support,” said Jill Siar, Assistant Director of Community Partnerships for PAWS Chicago. “This grant will directly impact the lives of homeless pets in our city, providing critical resources and specialized care that help prepare them for loving homes."
All proceeds from WWE’s Community Champions initiative benefit local organizations making a measurable difference in their communities.
