Cody Rhodes Headlines “Topps Rip Night” Nationwide Event in Georgia

 

Tonight, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes made an appearance Giant Sports Cards in Alpharetta, GA as part of Fanatics Collectibles’ Topps Rip Night for sports trading card and memorabilia hobbyists, where more than tens of thousands of fans and collectors descended upon 800+ hobby shops (list here) in 20 countries across the globe throughout the day. Kids were able to meet and interact with their sports idols, who took photos, participated in Q&As, and traded cards from their personal collections. 

Topps Rip Night included notable appearances around the country such as: 

• Tom Brady (Collector’s Club in Miami, FL) 

• Anthony Edwards (Triple Diamond Sports Card in Minneapolis, MN) 

• Caleb Williams (Canon Collectibles in Beverly Hills, CA) 

• Cooper Flagg (Indy Sports Card in Indianapolis, CA) 

• Jaxson Dart + Michael Rubin (Dave & Adams in NYC) 

• Anthony Volpe + Max Fried + Will Warren + George Lombard + Ryan McMahon (Baseball Cards Clubhouse in Tampa, FL) 

• Jaxson Dart + Michael Rubin (Dave & Adams in NYC) 

• Mike Trout + Corbin Carroll + Jacob Misiorowski + Mike Mahan (Arizona- three locations) 

• Bryce Young + Mike Mahan (Jaspys Cards in Los Angeles)  

• Emma Roberts (Card Fanatics in Atlanta, GA) 

• Cody Rhodes (Giant Sports Cards in Alpharetta, GA)  

It was an action-packed Saturday where hobbyists of all ages across the globe shared their love for sports, trading cards and memorabilia. Attendees were treated to pack wars, trivia and other in-store games, as well as special giveaways including exclusive Topps Rip Night packs.
