CREATIVE HAS FAILED SOLO SIKOA, OBA THE MONSTER, JADE’S STATUS AND MORE

Some questions arising out of watching Smackdown last night (06 Feb 2026).

1.  Is Jade Cargill a heel, babyface or tweener now?  Lots of fans cheering, but her role doesn't seem clearly defined to me.  Now, she's the champ and challengers can certainly come from all sides, but not sure where she stands right now.

She seems to have turned heel when she took the belt from Tiffany Stratton, but since then she has been a bad ass who does what she says she will do.  She is probably listed as a heel internally but she seems like a tweener to me.

2.  I might have missed it, but is Oba Femi assigned to RAW or SD, or is that still undecided?   I would find it interesting if he wound up on SD, as they already have a babyface monster in Jacob Fatu.  And Femi is arguably hotter than Jacob right now.

He is still a free agent at this point.  He’s awesome, no doubt.  Love that guy.

3.  Solo Sikoa -  I didn't think I'd have to say this in 2026, but he seems in danger of needing some image rehab.  He eats a TON of losses.  I didn't see Black taking the pin in the triple threat, as he just came back from a high profile loss to Damian Priest.

I agree 100 percent.  Ever since he lost to Roman Reigns on the first Netflix show, they have totally dropped the ball with him.  Mike Eps and I talked about that a lot on Saturday’s FMB.  They have booked him very badly over the last year.  I hope that they fix that.  He is really good.

4.  Triple Threat - I do love seeing Randy Orton run through his routine, it's always entertaining, but the winner here seemed pretty obvious.  Do you think these qualifying matches have become too predictable, in general?

At times, for sure.  I didn’t think that there was any way that Randy would lose that one.

5.  Also during the match, I heard what I thought was a weird/funny call by I believe Wade Barrett.   Randy thumbed Black in the eyes outside the ring and the call was "  The referee didn't catch that ".  Triple Threats are pretty much no DQ, aren't they?  And right after that move, Randy does his suplex on the announce table spot (which should really draw a DQ in a regular match, no?).

Announcers are human too, except for Excalibur.  He’s a robot.
