AEW Collision was recorded right after Dynamite Wednesday night at the Theater at the Palm in Las Vegas NV. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.
Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs GOA (Bishop Kaun and Toa Leona)
Matt starts with Toa and Matt tries to lock up with Toa, but Toa drops him with a shoulder tackle and then a slam. Nick tags in and he runs right into a scoop slam. Matt and Nick start attacking Toa with quick moves and drop-kicks. The Bucks dive onto GOA, but GOA catches them and slams them into each other. Matt is rolled into the ring and GOA works him over with double team moves. Nick tries to break it up and they slowly turn their attention to him, which does not go well for him.
As Nick is attacking with speed, he gets Toa to nail Kaun, and the Bucks drop-kick GOA to the floor and it’s dive time. Nick gets caught by GOA, who slams him onto the apron and then starts beating the Bucks at ringside. Kaun rolls Matt into the ring for a two count. Kaun catapults Matt into Toa’s headbutt as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Matt has been the babyface in peril and Matt finally crawls between the legs of Kaun and Nick gets the hot tag. Nick runs wild and Nick gets a flying cross body from the top on Toa for a two count. Matt tags in and they put GOA into the corner and we get a bunch of Young Buckery. GOA shoves the Bucks into each other and Toa stacks both of the Bucks on his shoulders for a Samoan drop. Kaun dives onto the Bucks on the floor and Toa tries for a moonsault onto the Bucks.
He hits them but doesn’t get the rotation and lands (protected) head first on the floor. Matt is put on top and Kaun tosses him into a spear from Toa. Kaun hits an assisted cutter on Matt for two. Kaun goes to the floor as Matt gets a low bridge. Matt avoids a senton from Toa and tags in Nick.
Nick gets an escalera onto GOA on the floor. Kaun is rolled into the ring and avoids the first BTE trigger, but takes the second for two, broken up by Toa. It’s then time for a super kick party into a DDT. The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Kaun for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Young Bucks
On the big screen, FTR and Stokely congratulate them for getting into the four way for a title match on Dynamite, but they can’t relive the good old days, and they cannot beat FTR. Dax says the Bucks keep chasing their legacy but they can’t match what FTR has done in their careers.
We then get a promo from Brody King after Dynamite Wednesday night and he says beating MJF was the biggest win of his career until he beats MJF for the world title next Wednesday night.
Renee Paquette is in the ring to speak to Kris Statlander. Before Kris can say anything, she is attacked by Thekla, who is then joined by Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Thekla goes after Kris with a belt…so it’s gonna be a strap match, I’m guessing.
Thekla says she doesn’t care what that stipulation for their match is because the result will always be the same. Thekla then stands over Kris with the belt.
As they leave, Kris grabs a mic and says Thekla gets to meet Straplander.
Lexy Nair is in the back with Kyle Fletcher and he discusses how he doesn’t respect Tommaso Ciampa. Kazuchika Okada shows up and says he cares about Kyle, unlike Konosuke Takeshita and no matter who wins the TNT title match tonight, he needs to make it clear he will take the title back at Grand Slam.
Kevin Knight w/Speedball Mike Bailey vs Scorpio Sky w/Leila Grey and Christopher Daniels
Sky stalls for a bit before locking up. They finally lock up and Knight forces them to the corner. They go around the ring in the ropes locked up and then break clean. They lock up again and more to wristlock and arm bars. Knight begins to work on Sky’s right arm. Sky gets a head scissors and they work to their feet and trade arm bars. Sky is shot into the ropes and comes off with a shoulder tackle.
They run the ropes again and Sky misses a stomp. They have a pose off and then they have words. Sky ends the talk with a chop after Knight mocks Sky being bald. They go back and forth in the corner and Knight drops Sky crotch first on the top rope and then drop-kicks him to the floor. When Sky gets on the ramp, Knight gets a diving clothesline and we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Sky is standing on Knight’s hair and pulls him up by his arms. Sky drops an elbow for two. Sky gets a rear chinlock and Knight works to his feet and fights his way free. They run into each other, colliding heads and they are both down. Knight gets a pair of clotheslines and then a leaping clothesline and follows with a scoop slam. Knight goes for a leaping UFO splash, but Sky gets his knees up.
Sky gets a series of attacks and hits the Sky High for two. Knight escapes a pickup and they fight through the ropes. Knight leaps and Sky hits a neckbreaker for two. Knight reverses a pickup for two. Knight gets a rollup for two. Knight leaps over a clothesline and hits a DDT for two. Knight goes to the top and Sky meets him there for a superplex for two. Sky goes to the top and Knight leaps up for a hurricanrana.
Knight gets a flying lariat and then to the top for a UFO splash for the pin and the win.

Next is a video of Hook saying the Opps are no longer dominating since they lost the Trios and World championships. He says that Samoa Joe is out injured and while he is out, Hook is the new boss of The Opps.
Mina Shirakawa vs the Already In The Ring Viva Van
They start with arm bars and Van dodges a clothesline, followed by mocking Mina’s shimmy. Mia misses a kick and follows with a sling blade. Van gets a headlock and knee lifts as the crowd chants equally for both women. Mina lays in elbow strikes and Van drops her and gets a stomp.
Van gets a snap mare into a straightjacket. Mina is able to get to her feet and snaps Van across the ring. They fight in the corner and then through the ropes. Van runs into a rolling elbow strike. Mina gets a combination of kicks and strikes. They fight in the ropes again and Mina drops Van’s leg ont he middle rope and then hits a tornado over the ropes for two.
Mina works over Van’s knee and tries for a figure four, but Van blocks it. Van gets a series of strikes and then gets an axe kick for two. Mina charges into Van in the corner, and Van catches her and puts her on the top ropes. They go back and forth and Mina gets a sling blade for the top, a pair for rolling elbows, and a roundhouse kick. Mina gets a spinning backfist into a figure four for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mina Shirakawa
This leads right into a mixed tag match as the Death Riders come to the ring.
Sky Flight (Dante Martin and Zeyda Steel) vs Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir)
Jon Moxley joins commentary.
All four start brawling when the bell rings. Dante dives on Yuta, and Shafir takes down Steel with a judo throw and then a big kick. Shafir gets a modified reverse figure four, but Steel escapes and gets a sleeper. Shafir gets to her feet and escapes, but Steel gets a rollup for two. Shafir gets a pickup slam and then kicks Dante to the floor.
Yuta tags in as Shafir is arguing with the ref and then slams Steel as the ref is getting Shafir out of the ring. Dante leaps onto Yuta and gets a quick series of attacks and covers for two. Shafir grabs Dante’s boot as he leaps and Yuta nails Dante with a drop-kick. Dante is knocked to the floor and Shafir rolls him into the ring where Yuta gets a suplex for two as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Dante has been the babyface in peril. Dante slaps down Yuta from the top and then hits a swanton and both men are down. Yuta stops Dante’s crawl to the corner and hits a German suplex for two. Yuta then hits the hammer and anvil elbows. Yuta gauges the eyes and Dante leaps over Yuta to get the hot tag to Steel.
Steel and then everyone is fighting as Yuta and Dante join. Shafir gets a slam into Mother’s Milk and Yuta stops Dante with a shotgun drop-kick. Steel passes out in Shafir’s hold.
Winners: Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir
Yuta has clippers and threatens to cut Dante’s hair and then Steel’s hair, which brings out Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy. Toni has scissors and Shafir and Yuta escape the ring.
We then get a backstage promo from MJF who is furious with Hangman Adam Page for interfering in his match with Brody King. He then wanted Andrade El Idolo to beat Page. He then says Brody King would not have won if it wasn’t for Page, and when his back is against the wall, that is when he is at his most dangerous. He says if Brody likes to bark, he will make Brody his bitch.
Thekla w/Julia Hart and Skye Blue vs The Already In The Ring Britnnie Brookes
This is where Tony Schiavone works in the plug for the energy drink, and oddly enough, the match does last longer than the plug, but not by much as Thekla gets a spear for the pin and the win.
Winner: Thekla
Thekla uses a leather strap on Brookes as Julie and Skye hold Brookes down.
Kris then hits the ring with a strap[ of her own to run them off.
Next is a promo from Jon Moxley who says no matter what is in front of him, he will succeed, and Konosuke Takeshita has grown and evolved. He will be giving his greatest and hopes Takeshita does as well.
Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson), Bryan Keith, and Big Bill in a parking lot brawl
GYV, Bill and Bryan are waiting as Eddie, Ortiz and the Rascalz drive up. Eddie tosses a garbage can of plunder at his opponents and everyone is brawling. Eddie swings a sledgehammer at Drake, but Drake dodges as a car window is busted. Drake rakes Eddie’s eyes. Eddie grabs a hammer and rakes the claw end across Drake’s forehead.
Bill pulls out a brick from his backpack and he and Wentz brawl. Ortiz slams a hood on Gibson and then slams him onto the hood of the car after it has been closed. Wentz does a backflip off the top of a limo into GYV. Bill slams Xavier and then tosses him over the top of the limo as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Bryan has a hammer and is going after Xavier. Wentz and Xavier fight with Bryan into the limo and the door is shut. Ortiz and Eddie and fighting GYV and Bill and when the Rascalz come out of the lino, a LOT of smoke comes out with them. Bryan gets a garbage can over his head and the Rascalz superkick it. Bill works over the Rascalz after they try to attack the GYV on the top of a car.
Bill slams Wentz into a windshield and GYV gets a doomsday effect on Xavier. Ortiz and Eddie follow Bill onto the top of a limo and they get a suplex on Bill on the top of the limo.
It's now down to Eddie and Ortiz fighting the GYV. GYV stops Eddie and Ortiz with low blows. They then choke out Eddie, but Ortiz pulls them off with jumped cables. Ilsa Dawn shows up and attacks Ortiz and then they threaten Ortiz. Myron Reed appears out of nowhere, dives onto them from the top of a car and puts Dawn in the trunk of a car. Ortiz slams Drake into a windshield. Eddie hits a DTT on the top of a car on Gibson for the pin and the win.
Winners: Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz)
Lexy is with Roderick Strong who says things haven’t been going the way he expected and he needed to make a change and that’s why he entered the open challenge for the TNT Championship tonight. Mark Briscoe says he believes he knows Strong has a shot, just like he does. Briscoe says if Strong wins, he would like the first shot. Strong reiterates he is not in the Conglomeration.
Tommaso Ciampa (TNT Champion) vs Claudio Castagnoli vs Roderick Strong
Strong goes after Claudio and when Claudio is dumped to the floor, Ciampa and Strong throw hands in the middle of the ring. Strong is tossed to the floor and Claudio catches him and drops him on the apron. We then get Claudio and Ciampa throwing hands. Ciampa gets a big boot and Strong is back in the ring and hits him with a drop-kick. Claudio then drops Strong with a clothesline.
All three men go back and forth in the corner until Ciampa drops Claudio and Strong with DDTs at the same time. We then get Ciampa and Claudio throwing hands and when Strong gets up, he and Ciampa combine to get a suplex on Claudio. Strong and Ciampa fight on the apron. Claudio grabs Ciampa, and Strong kicks them both down as the fight spills to the floor.
Claudio drops Strong on the barricade, and Ciampa nails Claudio with a drop toe hold. Claudio then gets a gorilla press slam on Ciampa onto the announce table as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Claudio is on top and pulls Ciampa up and places him on top as well and they throw hands. Strong grabs Claudio from behind and slams him and then drops kicks Ciampa when Ciampa leaps off the top. Strong hits a tiger driver on Ciampa for two, and then grabs the Stronghold. Claudio breaks it up with uppercuts. Claudio fights off a two man suplex and suplexes Ciampa and Strong as we are told there are ten minutes remaining.
Claudio attacks Strong on the floor, but when he comes back to the ring, he hits a DDT and then Angel’s wings on Claudio for two. Caimpa tries for a running knee strike, but Claudio catches him for the Big Swing. Strong breaks it up and Claudio grabs Strong for a pop-up uppercut for two. Strong gets a pair of leaping knee strikes for two, broken up by Ciampa who then covers Strong for the pin and the win.
Winner and still TNT Champion: Tommaso Ciampa
Kyle Fletcher comes to the ring after the match and grabs the TNT title, staring at it. He then hands it to Caimpa who cradles it to his chest. Kyle has a mic and asks Ciampa how it feels to be all elite, and how does it feel to know he can never fill Kyle’s shoes.
Kyle puts himself over and says he wants to walk into his phone town one week from tonight and get the hero’s welcome he deserves. He then challenges Ciampa to a match on Dynamite for the TNT Championship. Caiumpoa holds up the title and gives Kyle a peck on the cheek. Kyle says that Wednesday, Ciampa finds out what the best really looks like.
