Is The Rock still on the TKO Board of Directors? His deal was for last year, right?
The deal Rock had included a number of stock bonuses and payouts that would have concluded at the end of 2025. As of this writing, he is still listed on The Board of Directors and unless there's an announced change, that will remain the case.
How do you compare going to The Super Bowl to attending Wrestlemania?
Alas, I have not yet attended a Super Bowl, so I can't tell you.
Let's say for a minute that Andre the Giant couldn't wrestle at Wrestlemania 3 because of his back. What would the WWF had done? Turn Piper? I don't remember there being another match at that time that could've drawn 93000 people. Therefore, if WM 3 had bombed how would the landscape in the industry have changed over the next several years? Would the WWF not have gone on to dominate PPV the way it did? Would momentum swing back to Crockett or the AWA? Your thoughts please.
Had Andre not been able to make it, my guess is Paul Orndorff would have headlined against Hogan. No shot Piper was turning as he was exiting to go film They Live. I think WWF would have been so powerful by 1987 that even if the show had "bombed", it wouldn't have because the first PPV would have been a huge success anyway just based on being the first one for that technology. Wrestlemania III was the absolute execution of WWF's gameplan and once they hit that milestone, there was no way anyone could truly compete in that era. They had transcended and for entire country, WWF equaled pro wrestling in terms of branding at that point.
What's Kelly Kincaid's background?
Kincaid had a background in roller derby and radio before becoming a broadcaster and wrestler for Ring of Honor. Her work there got her signed by WWE.
What are the odds John Cena is at Wrestlemania?
If he doesn't have any filming, I'd expect him to be there at least to attend the WWE Hall of Fame and cut a promo to the crowd in Vegas, no different than others have made appearances in the past. Hell, they could make him the host of Wrestlemania. All he said is that he's retired from wrestling for WWE. Not anything else.
Any chance AJ Styles pulls a Midnight Rider and wrestles under a mask?
I don't think so. I think we've seen him have his last match for WWE. Whether that means he eventually does something, I can't tell you, but this wasn't an angle to lead to a Midnight Rider or Yellow Dog situation.
