Spotlight Match: Tyler Jordan vs Victor Iniestra
Big Strong Tyler taunts Victor and tosses him around. Smaller Quicker Victor tries to stay ahead of the big man with reversals and rollups but is forced into the role of the resilient underdog as Jordan is overwhelming him for much of this. Victor rallies briefly but Jordan locks the arms for a butterfly sitout bomb for the three.
Match 1: Gabriel Skye vs Fancy Ryan Clancy
The crowd immediately on Clancy for being a whiner about how he lost the IWTV championship over a month ago. Somehow I doubt this match will bring him the closure he needs. He tries to tie up Skye early but gets dragged into Gabe’s stiff striking game. Clancy trips Gabe crotch first onto the top rope and takes over. Skye connects with a wicked buzzsaw kick and Ryan barely kicks out. They go toe to toe with a series of rollups until Clancy shoves Gabe throat first into the ropes. A dropkick plants him for the three.
Clancy on the mic and says he’s announcing an 8-man tournament for the number one contendership to the Wrestling Open championship. And he’s joining it. No one cares. Clancy is whining again wahhhhhh.
Match 2: Lili Ruiz vs Shannon Levangie
Good back and forth match. Lili gives Shannon a lot of work but Levangie is Relentless. She refuses to stay down. A comeback springboard cutter almost seals Ruiz’s fate. Shannon has to fight for the space but she hits a sparkle
Splash for the three.
Match 3: Christian Darling vs Sammy Diaz (w/ brother Greatness)
Sammy charges the ring. He wants this fight with Christian. Darling weathers the early storm and then rakes the eyes. Diaz eats an unholy beatdown as Brother Greatness berates him from
Ringside. Sammy rallies with a great sitout bomb. He tries to come off the top but Tyler Jordan attacks from the outside! Sammy wins by DQ but Jordan plants him with a bomb as Darling chokes Greatness and throws him to the floor. Good match until fake TJ has to spoil it.
23 Hazard is out here after injuring Pedro Dones. He grabs the mic and gloooooooats. Jake Gray is out here to remind Hazard that he jumped Dones from behind and beat up his ten year old son. He’s a loser.
Match 4: 23 Hazard vs Jake Gray
Jake goes right on the attack. He targets the knee of Hazard to get one back for Pedro. He kicks it, drives it into the mat, wrenches it with a crab. Hazard trips Jake up in the corner but it’s clear the damage is affecting him. Jake rallies back but it seems like every time he invokes Pedro’s name, Hazard comes right back. Eventually Hazard grabs a chair, the ref stops it and Jake tries a sliced bread but Hazard hits a headlock driver for the win. Boooooo.
Match 5: Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister) vs Stetson Ranch (Danny Miles & Bobby Casale w/ Steven Stetson)
Casale and Bacon get into a delightful meat slapping square off before the decorum falls completely apart. Casale gets isolated and torn apart by Bacon and TJ, while Danny complains from the apron. Casale finally drives Hollister to the ropes and the Tanch gives him some similar treatment. Stetson tries a drive by with the Open tag belt but TJ avoids it….but not the blindside by Miles. The ranch with a very illegal three person stretch on TJ but Ref Bill catches it eventually and kicks it away! TJ escapes and gets the tag. Bacon runs wild! Stetson tries to cut it off on the apron… Bobby tries to blindside but TJ is there! Casale eats a Buisness is Booming for the win! It sure seems like Bacon and TJ might be back on the same page?!?
Bacon says this war with the Ranch has been going long enough. He wants another run at the tag titles. Stetson is also sick of this. But he decides they don’t need to fight. Bacon makes him an offer. If Big Business loses, they can never challenge for the tag titles again. Stetson has a counteroffer. All of Big Business vs All of the Ranch. If they lose, they never challenge for the tag titles EVER again. But Stetson says next week someone from the ranch will fight the “leader of big business”. This one line immediately draws the divide between Bacon and TJ again. Uh ohhhh.
Match 6: Gabby Forza vs Amira
Everyone knows Gabby is strong but the “Tower of Power” is more than an equal for the world strongest gnome. Gnome starts the win the exchanges and begin to punish Amira with slams after eating a flurry of chops. Amira gets rolling with some body splashes and a high velocity cannonball! Amira’s one weakness in this fight though? She keeps trying to slam Forza and wearing herself out. She survives an Oklahoma stampede. She tries a series of rollups as Gabby wants to hit the big shot….but that spear finally connects and Forza gets the three!
Match 7: Bear Bronson vs Dustin Waller
Waller is on a quest for respect and he’s prepared to beat it out of everyone on the roster that we love. He shouts out Ryan Clancy for calling out the crowd on their disrespect. Bear turns Dusty inside out with a light should check. Waller throwing chops but Bronson walks right through and pummels the “Speed Sensation”. Dusty doesn’t like all this flying around he’s doing so he tries to run for cover. Bear gives chase. Waller tries a crossbody from the stage but Bear catches him and throws him into the ring from The floor. Waller finally able to slow Bronson down by jacking up his knees on the post. Waller tries to work that knee but Bear fights ferociously, biting and dropping his weight on Waller. A huge black hole slam doesn’t end it. Waller forgets himself and tries to throw hands with Bear again. Bronson goes for the discus lariat…Waller with a Spanish fly! Bear catches Dustin out of the sky again…chokebomb! Very close two! He wants the fire thunder driver but Waller has answers! A poisonrana! Suicide dive! Lethal injection connects! Bear kicks out!!! This is a blast. Dustin yells that Gabby won’t recognize him when he’s done. THAT is a mistake. Bear fires up and lands the discus lariat! Fire thunder driver connects and Dustin is DONE! Bear gets the three!!!
Before he leaves, he forces Dustin up and offers respect. Waller just shoves him back.
Main Event: Tyree Taylor vs Oxx Adams (w/ BRG)
BRG runs Taylor down on the mic. Taylor looks MOTIVATED when he comes out. But this is a case where he is definitely giving up size to his opponent. Taylor is big but Oxx is HUGE. Taylor starts to roll and BRG inserts himself in the middle. And Oxx takes over again. In a pure one on one meat match, Tyree is more than able to hold his own…but BRG keeps proving to be a helpful distraction. Tyree rallies again and rocks Oxx with a flying European uppercut! He slams the giant!!!! Tyree connects with a moonsault! This could be it but BrG charges in and starts stomping Tyree. Oxx is DQ’d!
Oxx rolls out while Brett celebrates….and backs into a MAD Tyree Taylor. Tyree is about to kill Brett when Fancy Ryan Clancy runs in and drops him with a dropkick! BRG tries to make friends by Clancy runs him off. This is Fancy’s kill and he stands tall while everyone boos.
