When asked about preparing for a Rumble, Rhodes said a little insider secret is to stay in the middle and stay away from the ropes.  He said there was a famous wrestler named Haku who would immediately attack whoever came in, because he knew the cameras would be on him.  You want to get a good number, not an early number.  He said having gone the distance twice, he feels he has an edge in the field, which he described as an amazing field,

When asked who he would enjoy throwing out the most, Cody pointed out there will be surprises but said the top of the heap - Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.  He'd like to be the guy to throw out Lesnar.

Asked about the international feel this week, Cody pointed out they will be outdoors in Riyadh, essentially in the desert.  He's going to need to stay hydrated.  Atmospheric-wise, it will works out for those who are best prepared.

His favorite Royal Rumble memory is 1992, which Ric Flair won the WWF/WWE Championship.

Rhodes finished off saying the Rumble means one step towards becoming a three-time WWE Champion and calling his shot at Wrestlemania.
