GRIFF JENKINS, FOX NEWS HOST: Slice and dice. You've seen all the action. Real American Freestyle's inaugural season co-founded by the late Hulk Hogan. Now go behind the scenes with the new documentary, "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE, THE GREATEST TAKEDOWNS" out now on Fox Nation. Joining us is the host of the new special RAF wrestler, Colby "Chaos" Covington. Colby, great to see you again. You know, I got to tell you, as someone that has followed this and watched it, it's this remarkable sort of intersection of Olympic wrestling style with the showmanship that everyone loves. You know, as you reflect back on the past season, what should viewers know?
COLBY COVINGTON, REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE: I think viewers should just know that it's a high action show. It's a family friendly show. And most importantly, you know, it's a show where men wrestle men and women wrestle women. Such a normal concept.
JENKINS: Such a normal concept. Now, this Fox Nation special focuses on the epic takedowns. We have a clip from that where you take down Luke Rockhold.
Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Main event, RAF 5.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Three two minute periods. Colby Covington just looks better tonight, quicker, getting around on his takedowns.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He's got to keep circling, keep moving his body.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That's what he's trying to do. And he just about got it. And he got his two. There we go, 6-0.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He's going to go for something here. He wants to put this thing away. And here we go.
This could be the beginning of the end here. Nice tight grip here by Colby. Can he finish it? And he does. We got a winner. And it's Colby "Chaos" Covington.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
JENKINS: Chaos takes him down. Talk to me about that moment and also what it's like to be in that energy filled arena.
COVINGTON: Yes, that moment in "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE" was truly special for me. One of the special and best moments of my career. You know, the arena was electric, you know, it was in my backyard of South Florida at Amarok Bank Arena. So, you know, the fans, they want this. You know, this is one of the oldest sports of all time. You know, the Greeks did it. The Gladiators did it. And now "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE" is doing it. So any age can do it. And it's just such a special sport. You know, now we have an opportunity to really be able to supplement our income and chase our dreams. It's not just the Olympic dream anymore. So shout out to "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE", only on Fox Nation.
JENKINS: Yes. And, you know, you talk about it being special, special to you and your heart is Hulk Hogan. Of course, the late Hulk Hogan, founder of this. You have been an admirer of him for a long time. Talk to me about what that means to you.
COVINGTON: Yes, it means everything to be able to carry on the legacy of Hulkamania. You know, he inspired me when I was a little kid. I remember watching the Hulkster in Madison Square Garden and he was walking out with that big American flag. You know, he was a fearless patriot who cared about his country, cared about wrestling and God. So, you know, it's amazing to follow in his footsteps. I know he'd be so proud of everything that "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE" is doing as he started it. And I want to make sure that his legacy never dies.
JENKINS: And, Colby, let's talk for fans that have just discovered "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE". What's coming next? Where are we headed with this?
COVINGTON: Yes, what's coming next in "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE" is, you know, we're going to be competing with the mainstream sports out there. We're going to, you know, look to put on more shows, put on the biggest and baddest shows. And this is real action. This is high intensity. This is no faking, you know, fouls. This is no dribbling a ball in a hoop. This is doing what, you know, the Romans, the Gladiators and all the toughest guys of all time did. So if you want to learn something about toughness and intensity, you need to watch "REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE".
JENKINS: And I presume I've only got about 15 seconds left, but the training must be year round and really rigorous.
COVINGTON: Yes, it's a lifestyle. 24-7, 365 commitment. If you want to be the best wrestler in the world, there's no time to waste. You know, you got to be in the gym every day, practicing your takedowns and getting better.
JENKINS: And actually, I meant to ask one last one. You only got 10 seconds. Where did Chaos come from, your nickname?
COVINGTON: My mom gave me the name Chaos. She said I was a chaotic boy, and I was always bouncing around and wanting to wrestle. So she named me Chaos.
JENKINS: Chaos Covington. Thank you very much. Appreciate it.
