Welcome to the ROH TV report for 1/22.
Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari) w/Mark Sterling & Story Denali vs. Tommy Billington & Adam Priest
The match begins with Priest getting Daivari in a headlock, Daivari gets free and he goes after the arm of Priest. Priest gets free and he drops Daivari with a shoulder tackle, Daivari backs Priest into his corner before tagging Nese in. Nese and Daivari double team a cornered Priest, Billington tags in and Nese is double teamed by the opposition. Priest tags in and he nails the arm of Nese with an axe handle smash, Billington and Priest exchange more tags while attacking the arm of Nese. Billington drops Nese with a hip toss before some chain wrestling takes place, Billington then drops Nese with multiple shoulder tackles. Nese eventually drops down and that injures the knee of Billington, Nese grabs Billington and he sends him into the ring post. Sterling and Daivari attack Billington while the ref was distracted, Nese gets Billington back in the ring while landing strikes.
Billington fights back and his injured shoulder gives out on him, Nese traps the injured arm of Billington in the ropes while working it over. Nese then drops Billington neck first along the top rope, Nese goes for a high impact hold and Billington avoids it. Daivari tags in and he goes down alongside Billington after a double clothesline, Priest tags in and he starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Priest hits Daivari with a release German suplex, Nese interferes and Priest hits him with a tornado DDT. Priest hits Daivari with a chop block before getting him in a single leg crab, Sterling interferes again and Daivari accidentally takes out Nese with a diving shoulder tackle. Nese interferes and he sends a running Billington out of the ring, Daivari and Nese hit Priest with assisted DDT for a near fall. Priest fights back and he nails Nese with a dragon screw leg whip, Priest gets Nese in a single leg crab. Sterling distracts the ref so Denali can hit Priest with a choke slam, Nese then gets a near fall on a downed Priest.
Billington then sends a charging Daivari out of the ring before landing a suicide dive, priest catches Nese in a roll up for a near fall. Nese goes for a pump handle move and Priest counters with a roll up for a three count.
Winners: Tommy Billington & Adam Priest
After the match, The Premier Athletes, Swirl, and Jay Lethal attack Tommy Billington & Adam Priest.
Satnam Singh vs. Josiah Jean & Dante Leon
The match begins with Singh landing shoves on both of his opponents, Singh then lands a double clothesline on his opponents. Singh traps Jean in the corner while landing chops, Singh follows up by tossing Jean across the ring. Leon gets trapped in the corner next while Singh lands chops, Singh grabs Leon and he tosses him across the ring. Singh follows up by dribbling the body of Jean on the mat, Leon helps out and Singh quickly drops him. Singh looks for a double choke slam and his opponents escape before landing a few strikes, Singh recovers to land a double choke slam on Leon and Jean for a three count.
Winner: Satnam Singh

Bustah & The Brain (Jordan Oliver & Alec Price) vs. Cru (Action Andretti & Lio Rush)
The match begins with some chain wrestling between Andretti and Oliver, Oliver drops Andretti with a drop toe hold. Price tags in and he nails the arm of Andretti with an axe handle smash, Andretti gets free and he nails Price with a drop kick. Andretti holds Price down while attacking his injured arm, Rush tags in and he attacks the arm of Price. Oliver makes a blind tag and Andretti does the same thing as a standoff takes place, Oliver and Price take the chance to attack their opponents from behind. Andretti and Oliver have a striking exchange until Price tags in, Price and Oliver double team Andretti for a near fall. Andretti fights back and Rush makes a blind tag before double teaming Price, Oliver returns to the ring to help Price against Cru. Cru recovers and they knock their opponents to the arena floor, Cru then hits their opponents with suicide dives.
Price returns to the ring before taking out Cru with another suicide dive, Oliver tags in and Rush is hit with a super elevated bulldog for a near fall. Price accidentally takes out Oliver and Rush nails him with a spinning head kick, Andretti follows up by crushing Price with a lariat. Rush and Andretti hit Price with a double suplex for a three count.
Winners: Cru (Action Andretti & Lio Rush)
Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) vs. Auzzy, Hitt & Gino Medino)
The match begins with Magnum getting Auzzy in a headlock, Auzzy gets free and he does the same thing to Magnum. Magnum gets free and he drops Auzzy with a hip toss, Medino tags in and Magnum nails him with a hip toss. Floyd tags in and he nails the arm of Medino with an axe handle smash. Magnum tags back in and he double teams Medino alongside Floyd, Auzzy tries interfering and he is quickly taken out. Hitt tags in and he corners Magnum before landing strikes, Auzzy tags in and he lands strikes on Magnum. Magnum fights back and he manages to tag Castle in, Castle quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Castle and teammates land a bunch of slams on their opponents. Castle then hits Medino with a Bang-A-Rang for a three count.
Winners: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum)
- ROH Women’s Pure Wrestling Champion Deonna Purazzo is backstage and she talks about Madison Rayne’s retirement, Purazzo says that she wants to build her own legacy and is issuing an open challenge for a future match.
ROH Proving Ground Match: Lee Moriarty (ROH Men’s Pure Wrestling Champion) vs. Matt Menard
The match begins with Moriarty scoring a takedown on Menard before getting a quick pin attempt in, Moriarty focuses his attack on the arm of Menard. Menard sends Moriarty out of the ring and he follows him out there, Menard follows him in and he gets Moriarty in a headlock. Moriarty gets free and Menard drops him with a shoulder tackle, Menard also takes Moriarty down with a headlock. Moriarty gets free and he trips up Menard before attempting an arm bar, Menard uses his first rope break to get free of the submission. Moriarty then hits Menard with a few kicks and European uppercuts, Moriarty follows up by getting Menard in an abdominal stretch. Menard gets free and Moriarty reapplies the hold to him, Menard goes to the ropes for a second time to break the hold. Menard then hits Moriarty with an illegal closed fist strike and the ref issues a warning, Moriarty sends a distracted Menard out of the ring.
Menard gets back in the ring and Moriarty stomps away on him, Moriarty looks for a suplex and Menard blocks it before eating more strikes. Menard avoids a flying Moriarty before dropping him with a clothesline, Moriarty gets up and he nails Menard with some more strikes. Menard fights back and he lands strikes of his own on Moriarty, Menard mounts a cornered Moriarty and he nails him with elbow strikes. Menard then hits Moriarty with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall, Menard looks for a Boston crab and Moriarty kicks his way free, Moriarty looks for a DDT and Menard counters by getting him into a Boston crab. Moriarty uses his first rope break to break the submission attempt, Menard sets up for a piledriver and Moriarty counters with a roll up before getting him in a Motor City Stretch to force a tap out.
Winner: Lee Moriarty (ROH Men’s Pure Wrestling Champion)
After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions attacks Matt Menard until Sky Flight makes the save.
Diamante & Billie Starkz vs. Londyn Dior & Rachael Ellering
The match begins with Diamante rolling up Ellering for a near fall, Ellering gets up and she drops Diamante with a shoulder tackle followed by a basement drop kick. Diamante fights back and she trades pin attempts with Ellering, Diamante regains control and she tags Starkz into the match, Starkz gets Ellering in a headlock after landing a few strikes. Ellering gets free and she works over the arm of Starkz, Starkz gets free and she trips up Ellering as Diamante makes the blind tag, Diamante and Starkz double team a downed Ellering. Ellering fights back and she nails Diamante with a ton of chops, Diamante regains control and she tags Starkz into the match. Diamante and Starkz then double team a cornered Ellering, Ellering fights back and Starkz nails her with a knee strike. Diamante tags in and Ellering nails both opponents with a double clothesline, Dior tags in and she starts cleaning house against the opposing team.
Starkz then cracks Dior with a head kick as Diamante makes a blind tag, Diamante then hits Dior with a spine buster before Starkz lands a swanton bomb. Diamante catches Dior in a standing heel hook to force a tap out.
Winners: Diamante & Billie Starkz
Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs. KM & Will Allday
The match begins with Keith throwing his cape at Allday before landing some strikes, Allday fights back and he drops Keith before landing a penalty kick. Keith leaves the ring and Allday nails him with a suicide dive, Allday gets Keith back in the ring and Keith recovers to hit him with an exploder suplex. KM tags in and he shoves Keith into the corner before Bill gets the tag, KM lands a kick before Bill levels him with a clothesline. KM avoids a charging Bill before landing an avalanche, Allday tags in after Bill lays KM out with an avalanche. Keith interferes and he nails a leaping Allday with a forearm strike, Keith and Bill lay out KM with head kicks. Bill nails Allday with a spinning side slam for a three count.
Winners: Big Bill & Bryan Keith
Johnny TV w/Taya Valkyrie vs. Ace Austin
The match begins with TV dropping Austin with a forearm strike, TV stands up Austin before landing more strikes. Austin fights back and he drops TV with an arm drag followed by a drop kick, TV leaves the ring and Austin follows him out there before he gets laid out following a distraction from Valkyrie. Valkyrie works over a downed Austin while TV distracts the referee, TV gets Austin back in the ring and Austin rolls him up for a near fall. TV trips up Austin and he gets him in a straightjacket hold, Austin gets free and he tosses TV across the ring. Austin avoids a charging TV before landing a knee strike followed by a side Russian leg sweep, Austin follows up by hitting TV with a leg drop. Austin then hits TV with a series of clotheslines in the corner, Austin also nails TV with a disaster kick followed by a Doctor Bomb for a near fall.
Valkyrie interferes again and that allows TV to attack Austin from behind, TV then hits Austin with a reverse Samoan drop. TV sets up for Starship Pain and Austin counters with a roll up for a near fall, TV recovers by hitting Austin with a springboard kick and knee strike. TV goes for Starship Pain again and Austin gets out of the way, Austin and TV have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Valkyrie interferes again and that allows TV to hit Austin with an enziguri, TV then drags Austin up the ropes before Austin starts fighting back. Austin then hits TV with an enziguri before landing a head scissors takedown, Austin follows up with The Fold on TV for a three count.
