- Karmen Petrovic talks about what has gone down in Evolve thus far in 2026, she then promises to defeat Kali Armstrong tonight.
- Wendy Choo makes her way to the ring and she has something to say, Choo says the New Years has brought a new her. Choo says she will be unbothered, unfiltered and unapologetic in 2026. Choo says she has not had an Evolve Women’s Title shot in over a year and she calls Kendal Grey out, Grey makes her way to the ring and Chuey Martinez says Grey is supposed to be on a break right now. Grey says she can go and Martinez makes it happen.
WWE Evolve Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey (c) vs. Wendy Choo
The match begins with Grey scoring a takedown on Choo, Grey rolls for an arm bar and Choo defends with a roll up. Choo goes for a dirt nap and Grey counters with her own roll up, Choo knocks Grey into the corner before landing some strikes. Choo then nails Grey with a running knee strike, Grey fights back and she nails Choo with a drop kick. Choo leaves the ring and she avoids a sliding Grey, Choo then hits Grey with a dive from the ring apron as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Choo working over Grey while she is hung upside down in the corner, Choo hits Grey with a drop kick for a near fall. Choo looks for a suplex and it leads to multiple roll ups by both competitors for a bunch of near falls, Choo and Grey both go down after a double clothesline. Grey and Choo have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Grey ends the exchange by hitting Choo with a release German suplex.
Grey trips up Choo before landing a slingshot double stomp for a near fall, Choo fights back and she traps Grey in the ropes after landing a head kick. Choo then hits Grey with a neck breaker for a near fall, Choo looks for a full nelson and Grey gets free. Choo catches Grey in the Dirt Nap and Grey gets free before getting Choo in the arm bar, Choo gets free after a roll up attempt. Grey gets up and she cracks Choo with a super kick, Grey goes to the top rope and Choo meets her up there before landing a superplex. Choo follows up with a brain buster on Grey for a near fall, Choo goes for the full nelson again and Grey counters with Shades Of Grey for a three count.
Winner: Kendal Grey, still your WWE Evolve Women’s Champion
- Kali Armstrong is backstage and she says her path with cross with Kendal Grey again, Armstrong says Karmen Petrovic runs her mouth and she has already defeated her once before.
- A video package shows Nikita Lyons and Arianna Grace going to a psychic reading, the psychic does a palm reading for both and she tells them that there is much darkness in their timelines. The psychic does a card reading and it doesn’t go well either, the psychic tells them that they must change their ways.
Marcus Mathers vs. Braxton Cole
The match begins with Mathers cracking Cole with a series of strikes, Mathers then nails Cole with a drop kick. Mathers goes to the middle rope and Cole trips him up before landing a neck breaker, Cole keeps Mathers grounded while landing elbow strikes. Cole follows up by nailing Mathers with a clothesline for a near fall, Cole drags Mathers to the ropes before landing a stunner followed by another neck breaker for a near fall. Cole keeps Mathers grounded while applying a kravat to him, Mathers fights back and Cole drops him again. Cole goes for another neck breaker and Mathers avoids it by holding onto the ropes, Mathers then hits Cole with a double jump high cross body block. Mathers gets up and he nails Cole with more strikes and a clothesline, Mathers then hits Cole with a springboard stunner followed by a German suplex for a near fall.
Mathers goes for a suplex and Cole counters with a suplex throw for a near fall, Mathers escapes the grasp of Cole while landing some elbow strikes. Mathers looks for a backslide and Cole gets free before eating an enziguri, Mathers then nails Mathers with a super kick. Mathers goes to the top rope when Cam Hendricks comes out to distract him, Mathers goes after Hendricks and Cole rolls him up for a three count.
Winner: Braxton Cole
After the match, Cam Hendricks and Braxton Cole attack Marcus Mathers and Team ID is unable to help because they get locked in the locker room.
- Harlem Lewis appears and he says he will be on WWE Evolve next week and he will become the next WWE Evolve Champion.
Karmen Petrovic vs. Kali Armstrong
The match begins with Armstrong dropping Petrovic with a drop toe hold, Petrovic gets up and Armstrong tosses her back to the ground. Petrovic fights back and she nails Armstrong with a variety of kicks, Petrovic then rolls up Armstrong before applying a body scissors to her. Petrovic and Armstrong exchange some roll ups for a few near falls, Armstrong gets free and Petrovic catches her with a cross body block for a near fall. Petrovic goes after the arm of Armstrong and she gets her to the mat, Armstrong gets free and Petrovic sends her to the arena floor. Petrovic follows up by nailing Armstrong with a suicide dive as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Armstrong nailing Petrovic with shoulder thrusts in the corner.
Petrovic goes down and Armstrong cracks her with a face wash, Petrovic fights back and she nails Armstrong with a few strikes. Petrovic drops Armstrong a few times before landing eat defeat and a basement drop kick, Petrovic then hits Armstrong with a head kick followed by a sling blade for a near fall. Petrovic looks for a suplex and Armstrong defends against it, Armstrong looks for a power slam and Petrovic rolls her up for a near fall. Armstrong recovers and she slams Petrovic, Petrovic sends a charging Armstrong into the ropes before landing multiple spinning head kicks for a three count.
Winner: Karmen Petrovic
After the match, Karmen Petrovic gets the microphone and she says that she is next in line for the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship and that brings Kendal Grey to the ring. Grey says she will face Petrovic for the title next week.
- Team PC says next week will be bad for Team ID because they are in control on WWE Evolve next week.
