What are the odds AJ Styles does a retirement swerve to sign with AEW for millions?
I don’t know Styles so I can’t speak to his intentions, or give odds. If I were forced to bet on it, I would bet against it happening. He could have jumped there in the past and chose not to.
As a fellow writer, doesn’t it get your goat when Superstars disappear without explanation for months? WWE produces excellent video packages. Instead of Tiffany Stratton, Street Profits, and the Creed Brothers going ghost, we should see a vignette of Stratton vacationing saying, “When I get off holiday, I’m coming for my title”. The Street Profits could be on a media tour, while the Creed Brothers can be seen training with William Regal. With 5 hours of weekly TV or more, people shouldn’t wonder where talents are for months at a time! Do you think HHH knows this is a major criticism of his booking?
First off, HHH doesn’t care what the smart mark crowd thinks about his booking. He also doesn’t care what people like me think about his booking. I actually am with him on this one. If there isn’t anything in the plans for a talent, I am fine with them being off of TV. To me, it makes it more of a surprise when they come back. It’s like
that old saying, “How can I miss you if you never go away?” Take Seth Rollins, he’s a top guy but it will mean a lot more when he comes back since we will not have seen him in a long time.
Who do you think got the most out of their NWA title run between Aldis, Cody, Cardona and Adam Pearce?
I would go with Cardona since it helped get him back to WWE as a wrestler while it got the other two there as characters.
Have you heard about any independent company even considering going to Saudi Arabia for Wrestlemania?
I haven’t but we are still over a year away. My guess, and it’s just that, will be that would want to see how many people are coming from outside of Saudi Arabia before making that decision.
