We take a look back at what happened last week on NXT.
The title belt is in the ring to speak
Ava mentions that Oba vacated the title and she sees this as an opportunity because the division is wide open. If you have been doing this for a while and think you have been overlooked or a new face who just walked into the door, there is no better chance than now.
Since he doesn't have to lower himself to stand around the ring with everyone else, Ricky Saints makes his way to the ring.
Ricky thanks everyone for coming out tonight. He thanks Ava for holding all of this. Ricky says he told ya. He ran the Stand and Deliver Main Event out of NXT. That is what you call an absolute hat trick. Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Oba Femi. He didn't want to give him a rematch because he was afraid. Ricky says he is the then, now, and forever. Together, you will be watching him. Ricky says there are talented men standing around the ring. They are future champions, but that is the future. Ricky says he is ready to become the new champion and he tells Ava she can hand the title to him.
Ava says Ricky deserves an opportunity, but no more than these men who said the same thing. Ava says she was going to say that on February 3rd, there will be a six man ladder match. Whoever climbs the ladder and pulls the title down, they will become the new NXT Champion. Qualifying matches will start next week. Ava says she cannot wait to see who steps up.
Ava puts the title belt on the hook and it is raised to the rafters.
Joe Hendry, Dion Lennox, Dark State, and more get in the ring and they start throwing punches. The battle continues and Keanu Carver goes after some people and throws someone into the bleachers.
Carver pushes Smokes over the top rope onto people. Carver power bombs Brooks through the announce table.Baylor goes for a suicide dive nd Carver with a forearm. He press slams Drake onto a group of people.
Saints and Carver are the only ones still on their feet.
Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan walk in split screen.
Ava is on the phone and the person says that she is looking forward to seeing them.
Robert Stone says that Blake Monroe is here and she wants to get things off her chest.
Match Number One: Kelani Jordan versus Lola Vice
Kelani drop kicks Lola to the floor and hits a pescado before the bell rings. Kelani goes up top and is met with a punch to the midsection when she comes off the turnbuckles.
The referee starts the match and Kelani with a take down. Lola with a punch and a springboard arm drag. Lola with shoulder tackles. Kelani with a rollup for a near fall. Lola mises a round kick and Kelanie misses a round kick but hits a second one. Kelani chokes Lola in the corner and kicks her. Kelani kicks Lola. Lola with a kick to the midsection. Lola with another kick to the midsection. Lola avoids a rollup and drops down for a near fall. They go back and forth for near falls. Lola with a head scissors and she works into an arm bar but Kelani gets to the ropes. Lola with punches to Kelani in the corner and the referee pulls Lola ot of the corner. Kelani slaps Lola and Kelani runs to the floor. Kelani misses a boot and Lola grabs her leg. Kelani kicks Lola into the announce table.
Kelani with shoulders in the corner. Kelani sends Lola into the turnbuckles and she kicks Lola. Kelani sends Lola to the mat and she kicks Lola. Kelani sends Lola into the turnbuckles. Lola with a back elbow and a kick to Kelani. Lola with a rollup for a near fall. Kelani with a knee to the midsection. Kelani gets a near fall. Kelani with a reverse chin lock. Kelani with a forearm to the back. Kelani with a suplex and she rolls through for a second one and hits it. Kelani sets for a third suplex and Lola hits a suplex. Lola with an inside cradle for a near fall. Lola with a kick to the leg and a thrust kick to the midsection. Kelani with a hard Irish whip. Kelani sends Lola's head into the mat and she stomps on the back. Kelani with a forearm to the back and knees to the back. Kelani with a body scissors.
Lola with a back elbow and she gets a near fall. Both women go for bicycle kicks and both go down. Kelani with forearms and Lola fires back. Kelani with a thrust kick and Lola with a round kick. Lola with a suplex and kicks to the midsection. Lola with round kicks and Kelani misses punches. Lola with Naomi kicks and Lola shakes the hips and misses the knee because Kelani goes to the floor. Lola with a leg lariat off the apron. Lola with a running hip into the corner and she sits back onto Kelani's head. Kelani blocks a suplex. Lola blocks a Pele Kick and Lola with a rear naked choke and body scissors. Kelani rolls through and gets a near all.
Kelani blocks a kick and hits a step over kick. Kelani goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Kelani goes for the split legged moonsault and she lands between Lola's legs and Lola with a triangle. Kelani with a rollup for a near fall. Kelani with a kick and a spinning Olympic slam. Kelani goes up top and misses the 450 splash but she rolls through. Kelani with an O'Connor Roll and her hand on the ropes but the referee sees it. Lola with a back fist for the three count.
Winner: Lola Vice
Lola says she is coming after Izzi's title.
Tavion Heights says he broke out in 2025 and showed what he can do. In 2026, he will show what it looks like to reach new heights. He will be coming after Jasper and he will become the new Speed Champion.
Jasper Troy congratulates Tavion on earning five minutes in the ring with him. Jasper says he doesn't need five minutes. Whatever momentum you have gained comes to a dead end tonight.
Match Number Two: Jasper Troy versus Tavion Heights for the Men's Speed Title
Tavion with a drop kick and he is caught by Troy but Tavion with a sunset flip. Tavion with a drop kick and he gets a few near falls. Tavion with a front face lock. Troy runs Tavion into the corner but misses a splash. Troy with a body block and a series of splashes. Tavion rolls to the floor to regroup. Troy kicks Tavion in the midsection. Troy with punches and an Irish whip. Troy with a splash and another Irish whip. Troy misses a splash and Tavion with punches. Troy with a back breaker and he gets a near fall. Troy with a seated abdominal stretch. Tavion with punches and forearms. Tavion with a Superman punch. Tavion with a slam and a boot. Tavion with a clothesline. Tavion with a back body drop and he goes up top. Tavion with a frog splash and he gets a near fall.
Troy grabs Tavion by the throat but Tavion escapes. Troy with a Black Hole Slam for the three count.
Winner: Jasper Troy (retains championship)
After the match, Lexis King with a running knee to the back. King with Coronation.
Kendal tells Wren she needs to talk to Ava about another chance at Jacy because it took all three of them.
Zaria shows up and says they are next. She asks Wren why is she going to let Kendal get another match.
Jacy emerges from Ava's office and says she is talking.
There are many women in the room.
Ava says she wasn't talking to Jacy about her next opponent. She says an NXT tag team will get a shot at the TNA tag titles. They will meet next week.
Each teams says they deserve the title match.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Lexis King says no one embarrasses him.
Andre Chase says that is a teachable moment about what not to do.
King says the division is wide open and it is his birthright.
Channing Lorenzo shows up and says that they should listen to King because he helped him win his title.
Lexis asks Channing if he has it tonight.
Stone tells Lexis he cannot attack people.
Myles wants to talk to Stone but he has something to do.
Myles tells Stone he wants one of the qualifying matches. He says he will talk to Ava about it.
We take a look at Elio Lafleur.
He says he is not what you expect. He says he began training at 16 and was mentored by Nitro. He would come to France every year and he was the top trainee so he got a mask. He was his star protege. He represents his mentor every time in the ring. He wants to make his mentor proud. He says he is coming to NXT. He is here to slash the sky.
Ava is in the back and Ethan Page shows up.
Ethan says he loves Vanity Project and he thanks Ava for signing them to NXT. He asks when his qualifying match is against and when. Ava says there is no opponent and no date.
Ethan wants to know who deserves it.
Ava tells Ethan to relinquish the title for a qualifying match.
Ethan talks about what he has done as the North American champion.
Ava says Ethan has taken that title to new heights. She says Ethan has been the longest reigning champion in WWE. She says that Ethan deserves to defend the title next week. She says Ethan will defend the title against Elio LaFleur.
Ethan asks why is the guy debuting and getting a title match.
Blake Monroe walks in the back.
We are back and Blake Monroe makes her way to the ring.
Blake says she wants to talk about it. Last week, she came out with every intention of reclaiming her North American championship. She attacked Thea Hail, but so what? She brought out a little hell to pay. It was a travesty she had to wrestle for her title. Instead of letting Blake rise to the occasion, they turned it into controversy and chaos. She was in the middle of the conversation and then the narrative changed. She was walked out of the building like she was the problem. Blake says she will let us in on a little secret. When you are as talented as she is, they don't know what to do with you. They'll call you controversial. They'll debate you on commentary. You will criticize everything she does. Blake says she is the standard.
She says she is the most complete woman in NXT. No one compares to her. She says she is the moment. Every move she makes is monumental. The spotlight exists because she wants it to. When you take her out of the equation, you see how fragile things get. She lost patience with a system that doesn't know how to work when things are not convenient. Those girls fight over her scraps. Every story ends with the same truth. There are stars and there are women who . . .
Jaida Parker makes her way tot he ring when her music plays.
Jaida starts to talk and Blake asks if she can help her.
Blake throws a punch and Jaida blocks it. Jaida with a punch and shoulders in the corner. Jaida puts Blake on the turnbuckles and hits the springboard seated splash. Jaida with a running hip to knock Blake off the apron.
Cutler James says they came to take over. Four men, one mission. They started at the top and took on the best. Osiris says they did it all in 2025. Saquon says everybody who steps to Dark State gets dropped by Dark State. You saw what we have done but you don't know what we can do. Dion says Joe brought this upon himself. Saquon says they will deal with OTM.
Match Number Three: Channing Lorenzo versus Shiloh Hill for the TNA International Championship
Arianna slaps Hill and he likes it. Channing tries to slap Hill and he misses. Hill with punches and chops. Channing with punches and he sends Hill into the turnbuckles. Channing with an Irish whip and punch to the midsection. Channing with an Irish whip and he misses a splash. HIll gets a near fall. Channing escapes a slam and he connects with a forearm to the back. Channing with a wrist lock. Hill with an arm bar and forearms. Hill swing Channing around in the arm bar. Channing with punches to Hill. Hill with a back elbow and he sends Channing over the top rope on a belly-to-back suplex. Hill follows and they go up the aisle but Hill sends Channing into the apron.
Hill swings on the apron and hits a wacky line. Hill goes for a flying shoulder tackle and Grace pulls Channing out of the way and Hill goes through the ropes to the other side. Hill with a splash. Grace distracts Hill and Channing with a baseball slide. Channing punches Hill and they return to the ring. Channing with a flying elbow and he gets a near fall. Channing with a hard Irish whip that sends Hill sternum first into the turnbuckles. Channing with a drop kick to the knee. Channing with punches. Channing with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Channing with an elbow and a corkscrew back elbow off the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Channing tries to send Hill to the floor but Hill stays in the ring. Channing with European uppercuts. Channing puts Hill in the tree of woe. Hill with punches from the tree of woe. Hill with punches. Channing kicks Hill and puts him in the tree of woe again. Channing with kicks. Channing with a knee to the midsection in the corner. Channing punches Hill in midsection. Channing with more kicks and a drop kick in the corner. Hill with punches. Channing with a knee to the midsection followed by a running knee for a near fall. Channing slaps Hill in the head. Channing with a European uppercut but Hill with a tilt-a-whirl slam. The tooth is out and he punches Channing and hits a running shoulder tackle. Hill with a front face lock twisting slam and an inward senton for a near fall. Channing blocks a belly-to-back suplex and he punches Hill and sends him into the ropes.
Channing with a forearm to the back and then he hits a double knee gut buster from his shoulders for a near fall. Hill with a kick and then he goes to the floor. Hill puts the tooth back in and he freaks out Grace. Channing gets back into the ring and Hill is sent to the apron. HIll with a shoulder and a sunset flip but Channing drops down and Grace holds on. The referee kicks Channing's hands and Hill gets a near fall. Hill with an inside cradle but Grace kicks Channing over to get the three count.
Winner: Channing Lorenzo (retains championship)
Izzi Dame walks in the back.
We go to commercial.
We are back and North American Champion Izzi Dame comes to the ring.
Izzi welcomes everyone to their new reality. She says she is your North American champion, not Tatum Paxley, Thea Hail, or Blake Monroe. She is not going to talk about getting her opportunity because that is what happens when you stumble into success. She says she outsmarted everyone. She says she wants to talk about how funny it was to everyone when she lost to Tatum. What do you think she was going to do after that loss? Cry, hide in the shadows? That is what you would have done. She does not waste loses, she studies them. She is watching and learning how this place runs. She knows who thinks emotion is a strength and not a weakness. The loss gave her clarity.
She says it made her remember that the group was about removing weakness, exploiting mistakes, and making sure that everything is in place. Every step and move has been part of her plan. She showed that she is always three steps ahead. She engineered her opportunity and that is why she is now a champion. Everyone wants a piece of her. She says she heard Lola. Wanting something and getting it is two different things. She says Thea is in the back convincing herself that whining louder is the way to get a title match. Ask Tatum how Izzi operates.
She didn't become champion because she is beloved. She is champion because she thinks faster and pulled the trigger. If you think you are going to get close to the title, know what you are getting into.
Tatum Paxley gets past officials and she takes down Izzi and punches her.
Izzi gets to the floor and Tatum head butts a referee.
Kelly asks Ricky about Ava's decision about the title and his response.
Ricky asks about unbiased journalism. He says he talked to Ava and they talked about how he is owed a title match so he is in the ladder match. He says he will be watching Sean Legacy and Eli Knight as well as Josh Briggs and Shiloh Hill.
Channing Lorenzo and Arianna Grace show up and Channing is not happy that Shiloh is getting a chance at the title.
Ricky says that Channing is still the champ and he has the girl.
Lexis King says they need to talk.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Blake Howard mentions that Tatum Paxley has been kicked out of the building.
The Vanity Project tell Blake they have signed with NXT. They talk about the women they will get to run into. Drake asks if he will be in the qualifier since he is the champion. Brad says they are wrestling Chase U next week.
Keanu Carver shows up and Vanity Project leave.
Keanu swings the camera away.
Next week, Josh Briggs faces Shiloh HIll and Sean Legacy faces Eli Knight in Qualifiers. Ethan Page defends the North American title against Elio LaFleur. Sol Ruca and Zaria face Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey and the team of Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid for a shot at the TNA Knockout Tag Titles.
Match Number Four: Joe Hendry versus Dion Lennox in a No Disqualification Match
Dark State comes out to welcome Joe and Bronco and Lucien show up.
They lock up and go around the ring. Dion with shoulders in the corner and follows with punches. Joe is sent to the floor and he gets back into the ring before Dark State can do anything. Joe with a kick and he sends Dion into the turnbuckles. Joe with chops. Joe with a back elbow and a kick. Joe with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Joe with an Irish whip and punch but Dion with a European uppercut and punches. Dion with a back breaker and he gets a near fall. Dion goes to the turnbuckles and Joe stops him and goes up top. Joe with punches but Dion knocks Joe off the turnbuckles. Joe gets back up and he hits a superplex. Joe sends Dion into the turnbuckles and goes around the ring. Joe with a suplex and he gets a near fall.
Joe with a snap mare and a half nelson and chin bar. Dion hot shots Joe and punches him. Dion with kicks to Joe. Dion with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Dion with a reverse chin lock. Dion with a back elbow for a near fall. Dion with a reverse chin lock but Joe with punches. Dion with a kick. Dion with an Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Dion with a reverse chin lock. Joe gets to his feet but Dion brings him back to the mat. Joe with chops but Dion with a kick and hard Irish whip. Dion with another hard Irish whip. Saquon puts a chair in the turnbuckles and Dion sets to Irish whip Joe but Joe with a reversal and Dion hits the chair. Joe with punches.
Bronco gives Joe a pair of brass knuckles and he connects for a near fall. Joe with a fallaway slam and it is time for the Queen set up into the Standing Ovation but Dion is given a kendo stick and he hits Joe many times. Joe blocks a kendo stick shot and Joe hits Dion with the kendo stick. Joe with Standing Ovation but Joe is pulled from the ring by Osiris. He punches Joe and sends him back into the ring. Dion with a springboard sit out power bomb but Bronco pulls Dion out of the ring and Lucien punches him.
Dark State gets on the apron and then OTM do the same.
Now is time when we forget that Joe and Dion are in the match. Saquon is sent to the floor and then the rest of the non-participants go to the floor and the back.
Back in the ring, Dion has a table set up in the corner. Joe and Dion have chairs and they go into the ring. Dion with a spinebuster onto a chair for a near fall. Joe with Standing Ovation on the chair for a near fall. Joe and Dion exchange punches and then Dion spears Joe through the table in the corner. Dion gets a near fall. Dion gets a chair and he is stopped by a chair shot from Tony D'Angelo. Tony with a choke slam. Tony looks at Joe and he helps him up. Tony with a choke slam. Tony puts Joe on top of Dion for the three count.
Winner: Joe Hendry
Ava brings out security to act like they will take care of Tony, but this is wrestling and Tony destroys security.
Tony walks past Ava and we go to credits.
