TNA is no longer advertising X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Myron Reed for the AMC premiere this Thursday.
The match was quietly removed on new social media posts and website advertising for the 1/15 Dallas, Texas broadcast. Slater was still advertised in a "tune in" press release reminding fans of the Thursday Night Impact premiere. Reed was not.
The belief among those we have spoken with is that The Rascalz are no longer contractually bound to the promotion.
Zach Wentz and Trey Miguel had deals expiring at the end of 2025 and we have been told TNA did not option those deals to continue for another year.
Myron Reed's Twitter bio currently lists him as a "Free Agent" so it would appear he is not under any current deal, either.
Dezmond Xavier, who recently returned, was not signed with the promotion.
Multiple TNA sources declined to comment on the quartet's status. They are all still listed on the TNA website roster as of this writing but PWInsider.com's belief is all four are free and clear to appear anywhere they wish.
Obviously, anything can change and new deals can always be reached, but as of right now, all signs are Slater vs. Reed will not be happening this week.
Slater vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Moose at TNA Genesis this Saturday 1/17 remains advertised.
