Didn’t Jon Moxley give a huge face turn speech at the Continental Classic finals? Yet last few shows he seems as heelish as ever. Did I just misread that or is AEW just inconsistent once again?
I don't believe that promo was ever meant to be a babyface turn speech as much as I believe it was Moxley speaking from the heart about what he felt the AEW product was about.
What’s the story with Nick Aldis? Dude is charismatic looks jacked even in a suit, handsome and has more aura than most of the roster. Is he injured or has he given up on wrestling? Frankly I think he’s better than most of the talent he’s running on Smackdown.
First, he's not running Smackdown. That's storyline and the character he's been assigned to portray. If WWE wanted him in the ring wrestling, I am sure he would be happy to do that. He's not out of action due to an injury. They just haven't, to date, utilized him in that fashion.
Why is Jake Something not going by that name in AEW? Was it a trademark issue or just a Tony Khan decision to have him go by his real name?
It wasn't a trademark issue. It was what AEW decided to utilize on camera, which means it was a Tony Khan call.
Is Becky Lynch a full-time member of the new Star Trek series?
I haven't heard anything specifically about where she is slotted in terms of importance for the series.
It seems AEWs woman's division is moving towards younger talents and deemphisizing veteran wrestlers like Serena Deeb, Mercedes Martinez and Emi Sakura.what do you think the future holds for these veterans?
It all depends on what AEW wants out of them. I don't think there's any way to accurately predict long term how any specific talents will be used. That would be assuming and that's the last thing we should do in an industry where injuries, travel issues, stupidity and last second ideas abound all the time.
