If Paramount/Skydance fails to get WB Discovery, will that go down as one of the more bigger business blunders in recent years.
I think that they are doing all that they can to get the assets, including offering more than Netflix. I don’t see how it’s a blunder on their part if the shareholders don’t accept their offer.
In your Q&A from a few days ago, you mentioned WWE dropped the ball on Jey Uso. While I believe no wrestler is perfect, I can't really say that he was able to capitalize on the machine being behind him. He got over due to a drunken post conference at Fast Lane (back in the short time when WWE or any Superstar could hardly do no wrong). His match vs CM Punk fell short. Then, he was on screen drunk (again) at the last Saturday Night Main Event post show. To compare, this was shortly before an emotional Cody Rhodes interview. Do they serve alcohol in catering?? Image is everything, and I hope he can show some discipline and thrive in the singles picture again soon. Am I being too hard on him? Either way, it can't be all on WWE.
Yes, you are being way too hard on him and frankly the case you tried to make against him is ridiculous. He lost steam when HHH booked him to be a dope that wondered if he could beat Gunther. He was white hot after The Rumble until they put him in that ridiculous storyline.
Did they really take the Title off of Cody LIKE THAT?
Yes, yes they did. I was not a fan of the finishing sequence of that match, not by a long shot. Cody got screwed out of the Title so it’s not like he really lost. It wasn’t a definitive win for Drew McIntyre. Jacob Fatu hits Cody so is he a tweener now? I didn’t like it at all.
Is it time to put the guy in a mask bit on a long term vacation?
I would be fine with that. It’s become a trope, for sure. And in the case of Jacob Fatu, if he was going unmask immediately anyway, there wasn’t much point in it anyway. He could have just as easily interfered without it.
