Ikuro Kwon Enters Battle RIOT VIII January 29 in Kissimmee

ORLANDO, FL – Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced Ikuro Kwon as a participant in MLW Battle RIOT VIII on Thursday, January 29 at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, FL.

Ikuro Kwon, one of the most dangerous and unpredictable members of CONTRA Unit, is officially entering Battle RIOT VIII, set for Thursday, January 29 at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

A mercenary, master of deception, and a multi-discipline striker known for his lethal mix of danger and precision, Kwon has carved a path of violence from the slums of Korea to the tar pits of India — and now to the heart of the Battle RIOT.

Kwon’s experience in the RIOT isn’t new territory. A veteran of multiple Battle RIOT matches, he’s seen the chaos unfold and knows how quickly it can favor the bold and brutal as bodies fill the ring. His signature weapon, the toxic mist he infamously used to blind opponents, and his ability to adapt to any situation make him a threat the entire field must respect.

In recent months, CONTRA Unit’s presence in MLW has shifted — and with Mads Krule Krugger refusing to take on new missions from the international cabal, Ikuro Kwon now steps forward at the forefront of his deadly order. With his roots in the criminal underworld and a mercenary’s mindset, Kwon’s motives in the RIOT are as enigmatic as they are dangerous: survival at all costs, disruption of the established order, and the pursuit of his own shadowed ambitions.

The Battle RIOT is MLW’s ultimate test of endurance and chaos. Two competitors begin the match, with a new entrant joining every 60 seconds. Eliminations occur by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. With no disqualifications, weapons and unpredictable tactics are all part of the fight.

As the countdown to January 29 ticks down, Ikuro Kwon’s presence in the RIOT introduces an unsettling question: Is he competing for glory… conquest… or something far darker?
