We are in El Paso, Texas with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on the call.
After clips of everything that led up to tonight, TNA Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy made their entrance and addressed Vincent and Dutch regarding recent events including damage to their locker room and the kidnapping. Matt Hardy stated that The Righteous had crossed a line. Jeff Hardy called for The Righteous to face them in the ring. Vincent and Dutch appeared on the entrance stage. Vincent attempted to apologize. Matt Hardy demanded a match in El Paso. Vincent stated that they were not prepared to compete that night and proposed a match at Genesis. Jeff Hardy accepted. The Hardys vs. The Righteous for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Genesis.
Gia Miller interviewed Steve Maclin, who said he intended to regain his International title that night. Eric Young interrupted and told Maclin to complete his mission, warning that “the Cleanse is coming.”
Dani Luna vs. Harley Hudson (with Myla Grace)
Hudson scored a near fall following a springboard bulldog and leg drop. She attempted a front facelock, but Luna countered with a boot and finished the match with the Luna Landing. After the match, Myla Grace checked on Hudson. Luna attacked Grace with the Luna Landing and knocked down the referee. Lei Ying Lee entered the ring to confront Luna, but Luna attacked and choked her. Xia Brookside attempted to intervene and was also taken down by Luna.
Ryan Nemeth attempted to tell Mara Sade that he thinks she is superkicking him because she likes him/ Sade, not interested in him, responded by superkicking him, again.
Order 4 searched for Agent Zero prior to Mustafa Ali’s State of the Union address. A backstage shot showed Agent Zero on the floor with a guitar broken over his head. Elijah was shown nearby.
The Elegance Brand introduced a production assistant as their newly selected “Mr. Elegance” and exited to begin his makeover. Afterward, an individual wearing a green kimono emerged from beneath a table and stated that he must protect The Elegance Brand.
Mustafa Ali addressed the audience and proposed banning Elijah’s concerts, guitars, and cowboy hats. He conducted a crowd vote, which was met with negative reactions. Ali responded by criticizing the audience. Elijah then entered on horseback with a guitar, causing Order 4 to retreat. Following a commercial break, Order 4 was shown fleeing through the parking lot and encountering Elijah and his horse before exiting the area.
TNA International Champion Stacks with Arianna Grace and the NXT Outlaws vs. Steve Maclin
Maclin controlled the early portion of the match with takedowns and strikes. Stacks gained the advantage after interference from Brooks Jensen. Stacks applied a cravat and later scored near falls with a flapjack variation and a double stomp. Outside interference continued throughout the match. Tyreke was ejected after being caught interfering. Arianna Grace entered the ring multiple times, eventually raking Maclin’s eyes. The remaining NXT Outlaws attacked Maclin, and Stacks struck Maclin with a sliding knee.
The TNA Injury Report: The Knockouts involved in the Dani Luna post-match attack are being evaluated. All the participants in the main event were cleared to compete. Santino Marella was listed as "psychologically" hurt. Mike Santana was cleared for his TNA World Title match despite an arm injury. Steve Maclin is being evaluated.
We see highlights from Leon Slater vs. Oba Femi from NXT.
They showed highlights of The First Class Penthouse with AJ Francis criticizing Rich Swann’s championship reign. Swann attacked Francis with a baseball bat, put him through a table with a middle-rope crossbody, and destroyed Francis’ vinyl record.
The System vs. Cedric Alexander, Leon Slater & The Hardys
Matt Hardy and Moose led opposing chants before Hardy attacked Moose to start the match. The Hardys controlled early action against Eddie Edwards. Slater used Jeff Hardy as a springboard for an assisted attack. Moose tagged in and took control against Slater. Multiple dives occurred involving all competitors at ringside. JDC later targeted Slater’s arm. Jeff Hardy tagged in and scored near falls on Brian Myers. Alexander and Moose exchanged offense late in the match. Moose hit a sit-out choke bomb for a near fall. The System delivered multiple finishers to Alexander, who kicked out. The Hardys hit stereo Twist of Fate variations on Myers and Edwards. Moose speared Slater and powerbombed Alexander. Alexander countered a spear attempt with a roll-up on Moose for the win.
Santino Marella, still beside himself after his daughter turned on him, officiated a contract signing for the upcoming TNA Title bout on the AMC premiere. He introduced Champion Frankie Kazarian, who made his entrance. Marella stated that the match had originally been scheduled for Genesis, but due to the AMC premiere being positioned as the biggest match in TNA history, the decision was made to feature the champion and the top contender on the show. Marella added that if Mike Santana were to lose, a new contender would need to be determined, and he might contact Ava to bring in Trick Williams. Kazarian said he is addicted to being the TNA Champion, calling himself the King of TNA and the top competitor in the company. He stated that he is not trying to overcome his demons but instead confront them, and that he is willing to risk everything to leave Dallas as TNA World Champion. Kazarian said that at one point he and Santana were in the same place, and that he carried his city and culture with him. He said that on January 15 he will walk into the building competing for himself, and guaranteed that he will leave as a two-time TNA World Champion, adding that if he cannot do so, he may not be the person he claims to be.
Nic Nemeth then stated that he would be waiting to use his Call Your Shot opportunity on the AMC Premiere.
