ORLANDO, FL – Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced Bishop Dyer as a participant in MLW Battle RIOT VIII on Thursday, January 29 at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, FL.

One-half of the dominant Skyscrapers alongside Donovan Dijak, Dyer enters the RIOT carrying championship gold and unfinished business. As one half of the reigning MLW World Tag Team Champions, Dyer has already proven he can overpower and overwhelm elite competition — but now he turns his attention to MLW’s biggest individual opportunity.

Dyer’s history in the Battle RIOT looms large. In the 2025 edition, he stood as one of the final combatants, outlasting nearly the entire field and coming agonizingly close to victory. Now, with the calendar flipped to 2026, the question is clear:
Can Bishop Dyer finish what he started and win it all?

The Battle RIOT is MLW’s ultimate test. Two competitors begin the match. Every 60 seconds, a new combatant enters. Eliminations occur by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor. There are no disqualifications, weapons are legal, and chaos is constant. The last competitor standing earns a guaranteed future shot at the MLW World Championship.

And if fate aligns the numbers just right, the danger multiplies.

Should Donovan Dijak enter the RIOT at the same time as Dyer, the ring could quickly become hostile territory for everyone else. Two towering champions. One ring. No rules. The mere possibility is enough to make the entire field uneasy.
