A number of entertainment outlets have picked up the story of actor Mickey Rourke, who portrayed down on his lucky aging professional wrestler Randy the Ram in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler being evicted from his home after falling $60,000 behind in rent.
The Hollywood Reporter reported today that Rourke has given his approval for a GoFundMe Campaign, which has raised a little over $9,000 as of this article of its hoped-for $100K.
Rourke received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for The Wrestler.
