The UK's PROGRESS Wrestling announced:
PROGRESS Wrestling heads back to Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 week!
Buckle up, PROGRESS Wrestling fans, we are heading back to the flashing lights of Las Vegas for the second consecutive year!
PROGRESS Wrestling is locked in as the first show of the legendary The Collective, presented by Game Changer Wrestling, on Thursday 16 April during WWE’s WrestleMania 42 week.
This is another statement of intent for PROGRESS Wrestling to continue to grow and establish itself, not just in the UK, but across the globe.
The announcement was made during NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 20 on Sunday 4 January, in which Death Vegas Invitational produced by NJPW’s El Desperado are
also forming part of The Collective alongside PROGRESS.
Picture this, Thursday 16 April at the iconic Horseshoe venue in Las Vegas, doors swing open at 11:00am local time (7:00pm UK time), igniting The Collective’s packed schedule of wrestling to whet any fan’s appetite.
It is a case of déjà vu, as less than 12 months ago, the PROGRESS Wrestling ring was proudly positioned in Sin City ahead of WrestleMania 41, as American actor, and golden globe winner and wrestler Paul Walter Hauser etched his name in history, winning his first ever title by dethroning Simon Miller, Charles Crowley, and Adam Priest for the Proteus Championship.
That moment wasn’t just a win; it was a global headline-grabber, proving PROGRESS Wrestling thrives under the brightest lights. So, the question now is, what will happen this year? What will top it?
This news follows swiftly on from another blockbuster announcement, as our flagship tournament, Super Strong Style 16 will now have its first ever women’s tournament alongside its legendary men’s version.
First round matches for both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be held across the globe including in the US.
Martyn Best, PROGRESS Wrestling Co-owner, said: “Taking PROGRESS back to Las Vegas as part of The Collective is more than a booking – it is a statement.
“Following the recent announcement regarding Super Strong Style 16 and the introduction of a women’s tournament alongside the men’s, with first round matches happening across the globe, we are showcasing the very best of our talent, our stories and our identity to an international audience.”
Fellow PROGRESS Co-owner, Lee McAteer, added: “Last year in Las Vegas, the world watched Paul Walter Hauser walk into a PROGRESS ring as a Golden Globe winner and walk out as a champion – his first ever major title, won under our banner, in our Proteus division.
“That kind of moment is exactly what PROGRESS and Super Strong Style are built for: careers change, stories go global and history gets made in front of the brightest lights.
“As we return to Vegas as a key part of The Collective, we are not just putting on another show – we are creating the next wave of unforgettable first‑time moments that only PROGRESS can deliver.”
The match card and tickets are yet to be announced but will be in due course.
However, there is no need to jet across the Atlantic just yet. Our first two shows of the calendar year in the UK are now on sale, with details below.
Sunday 25th January 2026: Chapter 189: In Darkest Night (Camden Electric Ballroom)
Friday 20th February 2026: Chapter 191: For The Love of PROGRESS (Bowlers’ Exhibition Centre, Manchester)
