Miz interrupts Corey Graves and he has something to say.
He says we are not moving on to 2026. He says he is so sick of hearing Happy New Year. We are not moving on until he airs his grievances of 2025.
Miz says he asked for one moment with John Cena during his retirement tour not out of obligation, but for closure. Miz says he is stuck in Buffalo. He says he is being punished.
Miz says he did something rare. He offered his guidance and expertise to the younger generation, but it was met with entitlement. He expects it from the rookies and each and every one of you.
Miz says he was passed over for Marty Supreme. He says this isn't over.
Next, not only did Joe . . . and his good time buddies ruin his last Smackdown, but he brought back a nickname. A very untrue nickname. He says this will not become a thing again.
There is a silver lining. John Cena is gone. We don't want to see him any more. There is a new face of WWE and he says he fits so perfectly. Unlike this city, he wins championships. He says he is the most decorated superstar out here. He runs through the list. That means he is the face of WWE. He is the gateway for this company. He says he is the locker room leader. He says he is the adult in the room filled with spoiled little brats.
Randy Orton's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Miz wants the people to show how much they love Randy Orton's return to Smackdown.
Miz says it is good to have Randy back on Smackdown. He says that they are the adults in the room. They are the locker room leaders. They are the faces of WWE. They could be MizKO.
Randy with an RKO to Miz.
Randy shakes Miz' hand and wishes him a Happy New Year.
Randy helps Miz up and wishes him a Happy New Year and he gives Miz another RKO.
Asuka and Kairi are in the back and Nia and Lash show up.
Nia says even though they beat you, teaming up is a little difficult. Lash says that will be worth it when they help you win tonight. Nia says you can owe them a shot at the tag titles.
Asuka laughs and screams. She says she will be happy to owe them big. Asuka says they will keep the titles on Monday and then they can face you any time.
Kairi tells them they need to be ready for the Kabuki Warriors and Asuka yells at Kairi.
Randy Orton is in the back and Cody welcomes him back.
Randy tells Cody, out of respect, once you beat Drew next week, he is coming after the title.
Nick tells Cody that Drew will be here for the stipulations for next week's match. He tells Cody not to let Drew get under his skin. He reminds Cody of what happens if he touches Drew.
Cody tells Nick it won't happen.
Match Number One: Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss versus Nia Jax, Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Lash Legend
Lash, NIa, Asuka, and Kairi attack their opponents and it is down to Asuka and Rhea to start things off. Asuka with a series of kicks, including Kawada kicks. Rhea blocks a kick and misses a clothesline. Asuka misses a back fist and Rhea misses a round kick. Rhea drop kicks Asuka and then sends Kairi to the floor. Alexa tags in and hits a cannonball onto Asuka and Kairi. Alexa sends Asuka into the turnbuckles and Alexa with a kick. Kairi drops Alexa from the turnbuckles to the mat when Asuka distracts the referee. Asuka with forearms. Kairi tags in and she kicks Alexa and then follows with a drop kick for a near fall. Nia tags in and she head butts Alexa. Nia and Lash choke Alexa in the corner. Lash tags in and she slams Alexa and hits a splash for a near fall. Lash with a reverse chin lock.
Alexa with punches but Lash with a forearm. Lash with a wrist lock and she lifts Alexa in the air. Lash with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Lash with an arm bar. Nia tags in and she knocks Iyo to the floor. Alexa with a kick to Nia and Lash goes over the top rope to the floor. Alexa with a tornado DDT and both are down. Flair tags in and she goes up top and hits a cross body on Lash and Nia. Flair with chops to Lash and Nia. Flair with a kick to Nia and she hits a walkover clothesline on Lash. Flair with a round kick and Natural Selection to Nia. Flair goes up top and sets for a moonsault and hits it for a near fall.
Flair kicks Asuka off the apron. Nia with an Irish whip and Flair with a Flair Flip and kick to Lash on the apron and a kick to Nia. Nia blocks a slingshot rollup and gets a near fall. Nia with a head butt and Asuka tags in. Flair with a rollup for a near fall. Flair goes for the figure four and locks it in. Flair bridges and Kairi with an elbow drop to break up the hold. Alexa is sent to the floor by Sane and Sane follows. Iyo tags in and hits a victory roll and double stop. Iyo drops Sane's arm on the top rope and then Iyo goes up top and hits a double missile drop kick. Iyo flips around and SHE HAS EARS. Iyo with a side head lock and Rhea is pulled off the apron by Nia to prevent the tag. Asuka with a round kick to Iyo. Lash tags in and Asuka misses a running hip in the ropes. Iyo with a springboard move that is met with a boot for a near fall.
Lash with an Irish whip and a front face lock. Nia tags in and Lash Irish whips Iyo into a body block from Nia. Nia uses her rear end to add pressure to Iyo in the ropes and Lash slaps her. Nia with a slam and Lash tags in. Lash with forearms across the chest while Nia holds her. Nia with a side slam and Lash gets a near fall. Iyo with elbows but Lash sends Iyo to the mat. Nia tags in and Nia with a splash and Lash follows with a splash of her own. Nia gets a near fall. Nia with a chin lock and she sends Iyo into the mat. Asuka tags in and kicks Iyo in the corner. Asuka with another kick. Asuka with a running forearms in the corner. Asuka iwth forearms to Iyo and Sane tags in and Asuka with a CodeBreaker and Sane with a neck breaker. Asuka knocks Alexa off the apron but Iyo with a flapjack. Rhea tags in and she clotheslines Sane and hits a thrust kick on Asuka. Rhea with short arm clotheslines on Sane. Rhea sends Sane into Asuka and drives Sane face first into the mat. Rhea with a drop kick.
Rhea goes for RipTide and Asuka distracts the referee and Nia sneaks into the ring for a clothesline. Flair with a kick to Nia. Asuka with a kick to Flair. Alexa with Sister Abigail. Lash with a punch. Rhea with a kick. Rhea catches Sane off the turnbuckles and follows with a head butt and RipTide. Iyo tags in and hits the moonsault for the three count.

Nick Aldis says he has big plans for Smackdown in 2026 and he wants Jordynne Grace as part of it.
Chelsea Green enters and says she cannot go out there because it is too cold.
Nick introduces Green to Grace and Green tells her that they have something to talk about.
Green says she cannot go out there because of the ending of . . . Stranger Things. She says she will be the greatest first and final US Champion.
Nick suggests that she be a fighting champion.
Chelsea says she is fighting online.
Nick suggests impeaching her of the title.
Kit Wilson is in the ring and he lets us know who he is and he says he is redefining masculinity. He says this is the home of the most toxic sports fans. He mentions the Bills fans. He calls them toxic.
Match Number Two: Kit Wilson versus Matt Cardona
Kit with a flying uppercut and punches in the corner. Kit with a drop kick and he spins and poses and gyrates. Matt with a clothesline and he sends Kit into the turnbuckles. Matt with kicks and a forearm into the corner. Matt with a flapjack and a clothesline that sends Kit over the top rope to the floor. Matt with a drop kick through the ropes. Matt sends Kit back into the ring and Matt with a kick when Kit misses a shoulder. Matt with a clothesline into the corner followed by punches. Kit kicks Matt in the back of the leg and Matt falls to the mat. Kit with elbow drops and he gets a near fall. Kit with punches to Matt. Kit wtih a kick and punch.
Kit puts Matt on the turnbuckles and punches him. Matt pushes Kit away and hits a missile drop kick. Matt with a back elbow and clothesline. Matt with a face plant. Matt with forearms in the corner and it is time for the Woo Woo Boot. Matt sets for a Tiger Bomb and hits it for a near fall. Kit kicks Matt away and he sends Matt into the turnbuckles. Kit with Tourniquet for a near fall. Kit goes for an uppercut into the corner but is met with knees. Matt with a Rough Ryder for the three count.

Cathy is with Damian Priest.
She asks about 2025 and his rivalry with Aleister Black. What will it take to close this rivalry.
Priest says it has been six months that he has been going to war with him. Enough is enough and it ends tonight. For half a year, you tried to change him and to break him. You are not his creator. You don't tell him what to do. You have woken something inside that you cannot understand. He will whoop your ass all over the arena and then put you in an ambulance. You will fade to black.
We go to the Wyatts.
Bo asks what is the meaning of family, Solo? That is an answer you have been searching for since you were exiled from your true bloodline. You claim that they are not a family. You haven't taken the time to comprehend the force you are up against. You mock what you do not understand. Our family is not made up of just them. Our family is filled with millions of fireflies around the world. Always remember. He tells Solo it is time to chop down your family tree at the root. When the dust settles, we will be the ones.
Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring.
Sami says howdy to Buffalo. He says he hasn't been around the last few weeks. The time you saw him on TV, it was in the audience. He says he got to do something recently. He got to sit and enjoy the show like all of you. He says he get to sit in the front row and watch John Cena's final match with his son. It hit him in a way that he didn't expect. His son turned to him and he asked why do they call Cena the 'Never Seen 17'. He said that is why he won the world title 17 times. His son asked him how many times did he win the world title. Sami says he had to tell him zero. He asked him why. Sami says he didn't have an answer. He understands why it was confusing. His son has seen him in the ring every week and they all have World Championships so it doesn't make sense. His son has seen him come home with titles. He wonders why is that one missing.
Sami says he talked a lot about becoming a World Champion, it made him sick. He is not here to talk about it. He is here to do it. He says he is coming for the WWE Championship.
Trick Williams' music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.
Trick does the Lash Alert Alarm before speaking.
Trick says he has finally arrived. Trick tells Sami Zayn they have not been formally introduced and he runs through his nicknames. He says he is the most athletic, most entertaining, and most dangerous person. He says he is here for one reason. Nick Aldis called him and told him that they needed Trick on Smackdown to add what he can bring to the brand.
Trick tells Sami he isn't done. Trick says he can take off his coat and his shades and he is still six foot five and 250 pounds. They need someone who can challenge for the title and looks like a champion. Trick says he is here to be champion.
Trick says they are not alike. He won't take 20 years to get here and he won't almost get the job done.
Sami asks Trick if he is done.
He says Trick is right. He has the tools. You have yet to be humbled. Are you the first to look good and say that they are going to cut the line to the top. You aren't the first to look down at him. Sami says he has no problem teaching Trick a lesson or two and how to be humbled.
We look back at Carmelo Hayes beating Ilja Dragunov for the United States Championship.
Carmelo walks in the back and Ilja stops him and wishes him a Happy New Year. He says he wanted to face the best version of the best last week. You gave that to him. While the outcome wasn't what he expected or wanted, there are worse things in life than losing to HIM. Ilja says it isn't the last time. He asks Hayes if he plans to continue the challenge.
Hayes says when he puts Johnny's jersey in the rafters, he will continue with the challenges and he looks forward to facing Ilja again.
Hayes stops to talk to Miz and he says this wouldn't have been possible without him. He thanks Miz.
Hayes thanks Miz for leaving him alone because he has been so much better.
Nick is with Rey Fenix and Trick Williams interrupts and talks about being disrespected.
Rey says the new guy has a lot to learn about respect.
Trick yells at Rey.
Nick says Rey and Sami are right. Next week, you make your debut against Rey Fenix.
Trick says that is what he wants.
Match Number Three: Johnny Gargano versus Carmelo Hayes for the Men's United States Championship
Hayes punches Gargano after Johnny tries to attack him when he enters the ring.
Hayes with a drop kick as the bell rings. Hayes with punches and shoulders in the corner. Hayes with an Irish whip and forearm into the corner. Hayes with a leg drop. Hayes with an Irish whip but Gargano floats over and gets a rollup and rolling kick. Johnny with chops. Hayes pushes Johnny face first into the mat and hits a knee to Gargano. Hayes sets for a dive but Johnny pulls Candice in the way. Johnny with a slingshot spear and punches. Johnny with a pescado. Johnny chops Hayes against the ringside barrier and then they exchange punches. Johnny with a punch and he chokes Hayes in the ropes. The referee stops Johnny and Candice jumps in to choke Hayes.
Johnny with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Johnny wth punches in the corner and he chokes Hayes. Candice almost gets caught choking Hayes in the corner but she sees the referee looking. Hayes with chops and punches. Johnny with a back elbow and he rakes the eyes with his boots. JOhnny with a rear chin lock. Johnny with a Cobra Clutch. Hayes with punches and he gets out of the hold. Hayes with a chop. Johnny with a tornado flatliner off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Johnny kicks Hayes in the head. Hayes blocks a kick and Hayes with punches and chops. Hayes with a springboard clothesline followed by a satellite face buster.
Johnny escapes a suplex but Hayes with an elbow. Hayes puts Johnny in the ropes and he kicks Johnny. Hayes with a Fade Away and Johnny goes to the floor. Hayes with a flip dive and he sends Johnny back into the ring. Hayes goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Hayes with a clothesline and he goes to the turnbuckles. Hayes is crotched by Hayes and he holds the legs. Johnny with chops and slaps. Johnny with a Super Air Raid Crash attempt but Hayes counters and tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Johnny stops him. Hayes with a superplex but Johnny blocks it and he gets a near fall. Hayes blocks a lawn dart and an O'Connor Roll. Hayes with a super kick and a springboard DDT for a near fall. Both men block suplexes and Johnny with an inside cradle for a near fall.
Johnny iwth a lawn dart and Johnny gets a near fall. They exchange forearms. Johnny with an enzuigiri but Hayes with a drop kick. They both hit flying clotheslines at the same time and both go down. Johnny with punches and Hayes punches back. Hayes with a bicycle kick and Johnny with a discus clothesline. Johnny sets for a super kick but Hayes with a super kick of his own. Hayes comes off the ropes on a springboard move and Johnny with a super kick. Hayes with a suplex into a cutter for a near fall. Johnny goes to the apron and he punches Hayes. Hayes with a forearm and Johnny with a shoulder. Johnny goes for a slingshot move and Hayes with a cutter on the top rope. Hayes with a slingshot DDT on the apron.
Hayes goes up top and he misses Nothin But Net. Johnny with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Hayes rolls to the floor and Johnny with a suicide dive. Hayes with a kick when Johnny goes for the slingshot spear. Hayes goes up top and Candice gets on the apron. Johnny crotches Hayes and Johnny sets for a Super Air Raid Crash and he hits it for a near fall. Johnny sets for Fairy Tale Ending but Hayes blocks it and they alternate rollups. Hayes with First 48 and Nothin But Net for the three count.
Winner: Carmelo Hayes (retains championship)
Tama Tonga watches on the monitor and he turns into Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nakamura speaks in Japanese and Tama responds.
Solo shows up and he wants to know if everything is okay. Tama says that was an old chapter. He asks what is next with the Wyatts.
Solo says next week there will be a four on four match. Then they are going to take back the tag titles.
Solo says the men are outside so let's get out of Buffalo.
Aleister Black says it doesn't matter what you say now. This win is spiritual. You can pin him as many times as you want or put him in an ambulance to be the victor, but nothing changes. The only thing that has changed, is you. After tonight, you will never be the same. Zelina says it is time they put the final nail in the coffin of your delusions.
Cathy is with Jade Cargill and she mentions an injury suffered by Michin in a match.
Jade is asked if it was intentional and Jade says it was. Injuries happen when these pigeons don't know their places.
Jordynne Grace shows up and she says she is looking at her options.
Jade tells her to sign somewhere else because she is that bitch.
Cody walks in the back and he stops to talk to Sami.
Cody asks Sami if he has seen Drew. He says that he heard what Sami had to say and everyone is being honest.
Sami says he respects Cody and he always liked him. He asks who was the first in the ring after Wrestlemania. You have to know where he is coming from.
Nick shows up to welcome Sami back.
Cody asks where is Drew and Nick says he doesn't know.
Cody says he is going to handle this in the ring.
We have another Oba Femi video package.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks Buffalo what do they want to talk about. He asks how does one attain the richest prize in pro wrestling. He says he is not the biggest, strongest, or fastest. He is also not the youngest. What separates him is simple. It is his mentality when dealing with anyone in a WWE ring. Cody says his mentality is that he gets here early and he has the title belt in tow. He wants people to see him seeing them. That is the secret. When they see this championship and they see him, they think the money and the suits and the bus. Then comes the envy. Drew, you reek of envy. Cody says he is grateful and thankful for that. He says he cannot wait for that fight.
In the spirit of an arena that is important to him and in front of people who have rallied for him, he has a bigger secret. Cody says he likes to play dumb. When the cameras think they are catching him they are playing checkers while he is playing chess. You can call yourself whatever you want, he is the one who calls himself the champ. That does not change in Berlin.
Drew appears on the Tron and he says Cody is so predictable. You are so predictable because you are old school. In a world full of shades of gray, you are so vanilla. Drew says he was thinking of ways to hurt him so much. He wanted to do it in a two-out-of-three falls match like your dad would want.
Stage 1, a straight wrestling match. He will prove he is the better wrestler. Stage 2, the falls count anywhere. If it is one to one, the final fall is inside an old school steel cage. No outside interference and no BS. Two enter and one leaves. He will break Cody next week, but if you are champion next week.
It is time for a test of your self control. Drew says he wanted to have the discussion on the Cody Express and he let himself in and put his feet up and used the bathroom. Drew says one item stood out to him. He shows a photo of Cody with Dusty. Drew says he wishes Dusty was still here today to see the man that you have become. Drew says he knows that Dusty is looking up and he is ashamed. They say it will be a cold day in hell if he is going to be champion again. Drew says he hopes Dusty has a coat down there.
Drew breaks the frame of the photo and stomps on it.
Cody runs to the back to his bus and security stops him.
Drew is in the ring and there is a trash can. He has the photo and he tells Cody he might want to come back to the ring because he is waiting for Cody.
Officials hold Cody back while Drew pulls out a lighter and he sets the photo on fire and then he puts it in the trash can.
Drew tells Cody to hit him.
Next week, we will have an Eight Man Tag Match with the Wyatts facing the Solos. Trick Williams faces Rey Fenix.
Match Number Four: Chelsea Green versus Giulia for the Women's United States Championship
Giulia with a drop kick as the bell rings and she kicks Green in the corner. Giulia tosses Green by the hair. Giulia tosses Green into the ropes and hits a running boot tot he head. Giulia kicks Green to the floor. Giulia follows and kicks Green to the back. Giulia sends Green into the announce table and back into the ring. Giulia pushes Alba and Green with a suicide dive to Giulia. Green sends Giulia back into the ring and Giulia kicks Green. Giulia with head butts and kicks. Giulia stretches Green in the ropes. Giulia with a head butt and chop. Giulia with an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Giulia with a suplex and she goes to the turnbuckles and hits a missile drop kick. Giulia gets a near fall. Giulia gets another near fall. Giulia with kicks to Green.
Giulia slaps Green and then she sets for a Curb Stomp and connects. Giulia with a rear chin lock. Green gets Giulia on her back and she runs Giulia into the turnbuckles to escape. Giulia with a sleeper but Green backs her into the corner. Green with a punch and Giulia punches back. They continue the exchange. Giulia misses a boot and Green with clotheslines. Green has a kick blocked but she hits a dragon whip. Green slaps Giulia and sends her face first into the mat for a near fall. Giulia escapes UnprettiHER and Green with a Rough Ryder but Kiana distract the referee so he doesn't make the count. Giulia with a Saito suplex and Green with a rollup for a near fall. Green with a super kick.
Green goes up top and Giulia stops her with a slap. Giulia with a head butt and a butterfly superplex and she rolls through and hits the Northern Lights Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Giulia (new champion)
Cathy is with Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky and she mentions tonight's match and Monday.
Rhea says they have been waiting to get their hands on the Kabukis. The titles are coming to them. Iyo says they will finally become champions.
Charlotte and Alexa show up and Flair says that it was fun teaming.
Rhea asks if they are coming next for the titles.
Alexa says they are here to wish Rhea and Iyo luck.
Rhea asks if they are serious.
Flair says they are next.
We have a video package for the Ambulance match.
Johnny and Candice are in the back and Nathan Frazer and Axiom show up.
Frazer says that wasn't a great performance. Axiom says it is time for Johnny to grow up and he asks for his mask back.
Johnny says it is a gift from his wife and he offers it.
Axiom says he is going to ask for a match against Johnny and he will beat him and take his mask back.
Match Number Five: Aleister Black versus Damian Priest in an Ambulance Match
Black attacks Priest before the bell rings but Priest sends Black into the turnbuckles and then to the floor. Black with a boot to the head and they fight up the aisle. They make their way to the ambulance and Black sends Priest into the ambulance. Black opens the doors and Priest with a forearm. Black with another boot to the head and Priest with a back elbow. Priest pulls the stretcher out of the ambulance and he runs it into Black. Priest hot hots Black onto the stretcher. Vega closes and blocks the ambulance door as they fight back towards the ring. Priest with a punch.
Priest sends Black into the ringside barrier and kicks him in the chest. Priest goes under the ring for a table. Black rolls into the ring as the table leans against the ringside barrier. Priest kicks Black from the apron and Priest goes Old School but Black stops the forearm with a knee. Black is caught off the apron and Priest goes for a choke slam through the table but Black gets to the steps. Black with Meteora through the table. Priest with a forearm and Black with a kick as they return to the ring. Black with more kicks. Black with a forearm and Priest fires back. Black blocks an uppercut and Black with a jumping knee and another kick to Priest.
Black with kicks and knees. Black with elbows to the top of the head followed by a knee drop. Black with punches to the midsection followed by kicks. Priest with a kick and Black kicks back. They go back and forth until Priest blocks a kick. Black blocks a kick and he kicks Priest. Black sets for Fade to Black but Priest blocks it and hits a clothesline. Priest with an elbow into the corner and they go to the floor. Priest with a running shoulder tackle that sends Black over the announce table. Black sends Priest into the ring post. Black grabs a chair and he hits Priest in the ribs and back. Black puts the chair over Priest's head and he kicks the chair. Black hits Priest with the chair. Priest grabs Black and he choke slams Black onto the apron.
Priest blocks a kick but Black with a knee. Priest with a kick and they go to the turnbuckles for a Frankensteiner from Priest. Black with Black Mass. Black is the first to his feet. Black pulls Priest from the ring. Vega brings the stretcher to the ring for Black to put Priest on. Priest punches Black and Black punches back. Black with Meteora onto the stretcher. Black punches Priest on the stretcher and Vega gives Black a chair. Black hits Priest with the chair and then slams the back of the head onto the chair. Black pulls the stretcher up the aisle. Priest grabs Black's head but Black with an elbow to Priest. Priest gets to his feet but Black with a punch.
Priest grabs Black and Black with an elbow. Priest with a knee. Black grabs the back board and he hits Priest in the midsection with it. Black puts the back board against Priest's throat and he sends Priest into the LED. Vega opens the door and . . .
Rhea Ripley is in the back and she goes after Vega. Rhea grabs Vega and hits RipTide.
Black picks up Priest and Priest collapses on the floor. Black with kicks to Priest. Priest with punches and Black with a kick. Black punches Priest and Priest falls into the ambulance. One door is closed but Priest stops the second door from closing and Priest kicks the door into Black. Priest grabs a crutch and he hits Black with it. Priest continues to hit Black with the crutch but Black with a knee to send Priest into the ambulance. Priest kicks Black away. Priest sprays a fire extinguisher in Black's face. Priest with a fire ball to Black. Priest closes the ambulance doors and he goes to the back.to get a table from the production area. Priest grabs Black and he sets for a Razor's Edge through the table but Black escapes. Black slams the side door of the ambulance into Priest's head and he kicks Priest. Priest avoids being sent into the side of the ambulance but Black cannot say the same.
Black sends Priest into the guardrails and he follows with a boot. Black with elbows to Priest and then he hits a round kick. Black pulls over a production case. Priest sets for South of Heaven but Black with a back elbow. Priest falls onto the case but Priest stops Black and Priest sets for Razor's Edge but Priest kicks the case away. Priest gives Black Razor's Edge into the window. Priest puts Black on top of the ambulance. The straps come down and Priest sets for South of Heaven off the ambulance through the table.
