Real American Freestyle (RAF), the first unscripted professional freestyle wrestling league, today announced Olympic gold medalist and MMA Champion Henry Cejudo will face off against Hall of Fame fighter and MMA pioneer Urijah Faber at RAF06 on February 28 at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona.
Cejudo enters RAF06 as one of the most accomplished combat athletes of his generation. The youngest American Olympic gold medalist in wrestling history, Cejudo is also a Pan American Games gold medalist, Pan American Champion, and U.S. National Champion in freestyle wrestling. He later became only the third Olympic gold medalist to win a MMA championship, cementing a rare legacy across both disciplines. Cejudo returns to the wrestling mat healthy, motivated, and focused on a new challenge inside the RAF format.
Faber is a pioneer in the sport of MMA and is regarded as a champion in the space – establishing legitimacy to lighter weight classes and founding Team Alpha Male, a school for MMA. Inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2017, Faber is a legend, a teacher, and will bring experience, precision, and his “California Kid” mentality to the mat.
Additional matches include what will serve as a battle between "The Punisher" Muhammad Mokaev and "The Misfit" Bryce Meredith, as well as MMA Legend Clay Guida, whose opponent will be announced in the coming weeks.
Since launching in April 2025, Real American Freestyle has established a new lane in combat sports, blending elite freestyle wrestling with professional presentation and real stakes that’s generated 57.37B impressions over the past eight months. The league has hosted four live events to date – Cleveland (RAF01), State College (RAF02), Chicago (RAF03), and Indianapolis (RAF04) – each drawing strong attendance, growing viewership, and massive global attention. RAF enters 2026 with RAF05 on January 10 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, headlined by a marquee matchup between MMA standouts Colby Covington and Luke Rockhold at 195 pounds. RAF06 continues that momentum as the league expands into new markets and elevates its live event footprint.
