On January 5, New Year Dash will see the start for 2026 in NJPW, and the start of a new era in professional wrestling. Already confirmed for the night in Ota is a match for the IWGP Tag team Championships as OSKAR and Yuto-Ice the Knockout Brothers defend the gold against World Tag League winners Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr.
The rest of the card, traditionally a mystery affair, is yet to be revealedand will depend heavily on the results of Wrestle Kingdom 20. Confirmed to be in action however will be Konosuke Takeshita and Yota Tsuji after their double title match on January 4, Aaron Wolf after his pro-wrestling debut in the Tokyo Dome, and Andrade El Idolo, who joins United Empire at Wrestle Kingdom. Currently confirmed for action in Ota so far are:
