WWE was in Detroit, Michigan, at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, December 30th.
Sami Zayn defeated El Grande Americano by DQ when Sami was jumped by Rayo & Bravo Americano. Shinsuke Nakamura & R-Truth made the save. It was then turned into a 6 Man Tag and Sami, Nakamura & R-Truth beat El Grande, Rayo, & Bravo Americano.
Damian Priest defeated Aleister Black (with Zelina Vega) in a Tables Match
US Champion Carmelo Hayes issues a US Open Challenge that was answered by The Miz, and Carmelo pinned him.
Intermission
Alex Shelley defeated Nathan Frazer (with Axiom).
The Wyatt Sicks (with Nikki Cross) defeated MFTs (with Solo Sikoa) in an 8 Man Tag
WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre in a Detroit Street Fight. Before the match, Drew cut a promo on Brandi Rhodes’ family that was sitting in the front row. He said Cody couldn’t hit him until the bell rang. He then tried to leave and said he’d rather fight Cody in Berlin and walked out but the bell rang and Cody dragged Drew back into the ring. Cody won by splashing Drew through a table. He then spent at least a half hour going around the ring signing and taking photos with people, much to the annoyance of the Little Caesars staff who kept trying to get people to leave.
It was a fun show. Oddly enough, there were no women matches at all.
