Mick Foley wrote on Facebook, "GOODBYE JOHN CENA -
Who else will be tuning in to watch John Cena’s final match? One thing I think people sometimes forget now and somewhat take for granted with John is how hard he had to fight to get to this point. I remember back in the day when I’d receive an angry wall from the hardcore fans anytime I praised him for ANYTHING. I have rarely, if ever, seen anyone work harder and succeed in winning so many people over in all of my years in the business. To say he proved the doubters wrong and earned his spot and this moment, is almost an understatement.
I’m glad that those angry walls have all disappeared and we can now all agree that John Cena is one of the true greats of our business. He has had one of the most remarkable careers in the history of wrestling, and this is truly the end of an era. Have a nice day @JohnCena.
