The Tahinos Family announced:
"A Celebration of Life honoring the memory of George Tahinos will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 7-10pm at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club 14-19 Parmalee Ave Fair Lawn, NJ 07410"
Tahinos, a famed wrestling photographer out of the Northeast who was also a long-time friend of everyone here at PWInsider.com passed away earlier this month following a cardiac event at the age of 63.
Tahinos shot photos in recent years for Paul Heyman's Heyman Hustle, Canada's Slam! Wrestling website and a number of international magazines, including Powerslam in the UK. George was a regular fixture at WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, and countless other promotions in recent decades.
A GoFund Me Campaign has been launched to assist the family of George Tahinos with his memorial and cremation expenses following his passing. To donate to assist Tahinos' family, click here.
In the wake of his passing, both AEW and TNA paid tribute to Tahinos withTNA dedicating an episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV to his memory while AEW reserved a seat for Tahinos in the media section of AEW Full Gear in his memory.
George had been a great friend to those of us here at PWInsider.com for decades. He was a great person and we will deeply miss George and his friendship. Our deepest condolences continue to go out to George's family and friends.
