Gotham Wrestling has secured television broadcast deals with NESN, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, Sportsnet Pennsylvania and Gray Broadcasting. Gray already airs UWN Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and 1 Fall Wrestling. There were meetings with FOX and CBS officials earlier this week about local distribution in the NYC area, which means they are looking WOR Channel 8 and TV 55 as potential homes.
The plan tonight is to unveil the official on-screen General Manager for Gotham Wrestling and he will be a name that is well known to NYC fans.
Former WWE NXT star Bull James is visiting at the show.
CarShield has come on board as an official sponsor for The Gotham Wrestling Series.
Drew Gulak, who wrestles and produces here, has opened a second location for his wrestling school, adding a Baltimore location to his Philadelpha establishment.
The promotion will be taping three episodes tonight. They have added a giant GOTHAM WRESTLING backdrop that will sit behind fans across from the hard camera.
Despite weather issues in NYC, everyone has made it to the taping with the exception of UWN Champion Jordan Cruz, who we are told is still in the air.
