With the recent remarks from Bret Hart regarding Triple H and Shawn Michael, right or wrong, are you surprised Bret continues to have a Legends Deal with WWE? Is it a situation that he moves a lot of merchandise that his remarks doesn’t bother the higher ups at WWE?
First off, I don’t think WWE would pull the deal based off of the remarks. That would just bring more attention to the things that Bret has said. Will they renew the deal when it ends? That’s a good question and I don’t have the answer. All I can say that it’s a shame that Bret can’t move on from the past. Living in the past, with all of that hostility, just isn’t healthy. With some feeling that WWE signed Bret to keep him away from AEW, and that company no longer being the potential threat that it was, I could see WWE moving on from him.
How is Alexander Hammerstone NOT signed to either AEW or WWE? I do not get this one, at all. Does he have heat that you guys are aware of or is he injury prone? Something else?
I wonder the same thing myself. I know that WWE had interest in him. It could just be that he doesn’t want to commit to the schedule.
What's happened to Scott D'Amore's Maple Leaf Pro? They came out strong but seem to have vanished in the blink of an eye.
They are still around and they have events planned for the future last I heard.
Do you agree that Iyo Sky, Stephanie Vaquer and Bianca Belair are the top 3 female in-ring workers in the industry - with either Toni Storm, Mercedes Mone, Becky Lynch or Rhea Ripley-being the most developed, 3-dimensional female characters in pro wrestling?
I don’t rank people. That’s not my thing. But every woman you mentioned is super talented, no doubt.
