WWE is set for a triumphant return at the United Center in Chicago, after more than 30 years from its latest event there (SummerSlam 1994), the first big event to take place in the venue), and will go back to the Windy City at the end of February 2026, for its Premium Live Event, Elimination Chamber. The PLE weekend will be the last of the month, with the big night scheduled for the 28th.
What will happen at Elimination Chamber 2026?
While we write this, we still don’t know very much about the next Elimination Chamber. There are some months to go and there’s plenty of time for WWE to further develop the ongoing feuds and storylines, as well as to create some new and compelling ones to follow over the next few weeks.
While we wait to find out who's participating in the upcoming PLE, we can stay up to date on the main wrestling events by consulting Oddschecker, a comparison site that offers sports statistics, odds, and intriguing bonuses to new and existing players. Whoever is interested in Missouri sportsbook promos, and all other promotions valid in the USA, may visit the website and find out everything that applies. There are a lot of cool offers on the platform.
Both the men’s and women’s division have a lot of star power at the moment and 2026 is shaping to be as interesting as ever for WWE. Of course, the firm let go of some heavy names in the last few months, but seems determined to give fans what they want by bringing back some never-forgotten talent. AJ Lee and Nikki Bella recently came back and the fans’ reaction was stunning. This may be the path going forward: mixing new faces and old favourites to please the crowd and keep the WWE as close as ever to its beating heart: the fans.
Remembering Elimination Chamber 2025: a fitting turning point in John Cena’s legacy
This year’s Elimination Chamber, held in Toronto, was something for the ages. The lineup was stacked and we could see some of the greatest stars in action: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens faced off in an unsanctioned match that was pretty fun to watch, as it is always the case with this kind of clash where there isn’t any referee and everything goes without any restriction. It is the truest spirit of fighting and each fighter can be as dirty as he wants, knowing that his opponent will do just the same. Then we had an interesting female Elimination Chamber that featured the return of Alexa Bliss, after her pregnancy, and one of Naomi's latest appearances before her own pregnancy, in the same cage that showcased Roxanne Perez’s talent and cemented her opportunity to become a WWE high card.Obviously, though, the men stole the spotlight, as they usually do given their athletic prowess. One athlete in particular stood tall: the iconic John Cena, in his last year before retiring, at 48. Cena is about to become a full-time actor, but before moving on with his career he chose to leave a lasting impression on his fans, who happen to be a lot. He won the match and went on to become the Undisputed Champion in April, at WrestleMania, before ultimately giving the belt back to Cody Rhodes, the current Alpha in the WWE locker room.
The match that featured Cena had a lot of firepower. There was Logan Paul, who is not a true star but is very popular on social media; CM Punk and Drew McIntyre when they were busy with their feud; Damian Priest before leaving Judgment Day and Seth Freakin’ Rollins, who is an elite-level talent involved in a lot of storylines because of his marriage with arguably the greatest female wrestler ever: Becky Lynch. Given how loaded the last edition was, one can only hope Chicago's Elimination Chamber will be even better.
