Wrestling Open “Wrestling Open vs The World”
11/20/25
Spotlight Match: Eye Black Jack vs Q Wynters
A good solid back and forth match. No slowdown, Q introduced himself to the White Eagle while Jack battled to his finishing sequence and got the three on an Impaler. The crowd is still coming in and getting settled but they were clearly wrestling with the energy.
Match 1: “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson vs Love Doug
Johnson is Steven Stetson’s handpicked opponent. If Doug beats Lee Johnson, Big Business gets their shot at the Open Tag Team Titles. For most of this match, Stetson’s investment looks to be paying off. Doug has a brief rally where he almost hits the rebound…Lee dodges but Doug is quick with a rollup and he gets the three!!!
Match 2: Shannon LaVangie vs Nixi XS
Nixi having a good time beating on Shannon to start this. LaVangie trying to battle back but XS keeps cutting her off. A sliding basement ddt doesn’t finish Shannon. Nixi getting into her face and talking smack. Shannon finally gets a yakuza kick and a swinging cutter to get the three. I truly can’t believe this match when longer than the previous one. Something did not work here.
Match 3: Ricky Smokes vs Timothy Thatcher
This is my kind of Thatcher match. Smokes is trying to avoid the WWE ID player coach but Timmy Murderface has the smile going. This is a lot of bad news and painful positions for Ricky. Smokes tweaks the arm on the top rope and starts to get some shots in. Thatcher gets MAD, roars and tosses Smokes. Hard forearms to the chest and a cradle slam for two. Ricky with the stun, he double stomps the arm, whip to the buckles and slingshot spear puts Thatcher down for the three in what feels like an upset.
Match 4: Mike Cunningham vs Steven Stetson
If you have a cowboy gimmick and you come to Open, you are prolly gonna end up fighting the New Jersey cowpoke. Cunningham looks awesome to start but he flies into a rough landing German suplex that gives Steven some time to get heat. The crowd gets under his skin with the ol’ spelling gimmick and Cunningham hits a superkick to get rolling. Stetson looks in bad shape but he quickly ducks a clothesline to hit the North Jersey Lariat for the sudden three. Good debut for this kid but he ran into our stupid s***ty cowboy.
Match 5: Alex Reynolds vs Handyman Jake Gray
Reynolds takes a REALLY long time to get ring ready. Jake is seething, hits a shotgun and a sliced bread and almost gets the win. Reynolds isn’t about to be embarrassed on IWTV and lays a hard beating on Jake, inside and outside the ring. The crowd HATES what Reynolds is doing to Jake. But Jake is just getting pummeled and Alex is eating up the boos. Gray trips up Alex to the outside! Clothesline off the top! Tornado DDT! He’s feeling it! Jake hits the wrench ddt! Reynolds gets a foot on the ropes! This is awesome. Jake tries the trust fall but Reynolds catches him into a side Russian and twists Gray up on the floor for the tap out. This match owned. We hate Reynolds but this was an EXCELLENT showing for Jake.
Match 6: Ichiban vs Eli Knight
If you expect this to be a crazy clash of ridiculous flippy boys that might be the match of the night….you would be pretty happy. I can barely follow this move for move. Eli is definitely the heel in this and trying to ground the extra high flying Ichiban tonight. This is a special 20 minute time limit match and they are tearing this ring UP. Ichiban rolls away from a Frogsplash and starts to fire up! Top rope karate chop! Eli backslides the Ichi Bankai! Knight with a spinning cradle driver for two! Ichi with a dive to the floor! Knight with a top rope Spanish fly! The crowd agrees, the is AWESOME. Ichi gets a foot up on a high angle moonsault! Destroyer! The Ichi Bankai connects!!! Ichiban gets the three! Eli might have been the heel but the crowd KNOWS the effort put in and he gets a Please Come Back. Incredible.
Main Event: Simply The Best (BRG & Oxx Adams) and Christian Darling vs Alec Price, Tyree Taylor & Fancy Ryan Clancy
This starts as a celebration of baby face dominance as Tyree, Clancy and Price are just outworking everyone they are across from. BRG sucks though so he cheapshots Price from the outside and sets up the Northeast Beast for a long triple teaming. BRG and CD even pull his partners off the apron to stop the tag. Oxx catches a flying and slams him almost through the ring. BRG tags in and instantly loses the momentum, allowing the tag to Clancy. The Fancy train is quickly cut off by a giant Oxx and BRG is happy to try and get some shots in again. Tyree finally gets the tag in and he starts squashing everyone. Oxx gets caught up by Tyree and he eats a triple teaming doomsday device! BRG left alone and surrounded by wolves. He backs up into Tyree…is that where he should be looking? Alec Price hits the Suuuuuprize kick and BRG is done. Christian Darling can’t make the save as Price gets the three.
Price on the mic. He’s glad to be back home in the World Famous White Eagle! Price, Clancy and Tyree all cut their teeth here. Look how they’ve all grown and changed. But Price is hungry. He wants to be back in this building as much as possible…he stakes his place in line for Clancy’s belt…but that’s for the future. For the present? He tells Tyree that he’s feeling Froggy…and next time he’s here? He wants to fight Tyree Taylor. Tyree says that he hopes he enjoys what he wished for…he accepts!
