AEW FULL GEAR NEWS AND NOTES

AEW had a big crowd for last night's Full Gear topping the 10.000-11,000 mark at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.  Live, they were up all night and had big reactions.

Morale was very high backstage after the show..

When asked if he was worried about WBD's potential sale during the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan stated he wasn't worried at all and was high on AEW's future.

Khan specifically mentioned George Tahinos and Bob Caudle's passings and sent his condolences to their loved ones.

Hangman Page's music was the theme to video game series Red Dead Redemption.

Swerve Strickland's new theme was by Wu-Tang Clan founding member Raekwon The Chef.

As we mentioned last night, former WWE and ECW star Dawn Marie and her family were visiting at AEW Full Gear.  Marie lives in New Jersey.

Samantha Irving, Ricochet's wife and former WWE ring announcer, was backstage.

Marq Quen of Private Party was also backstage.  Isiah Kassidy was not.

Former ROH owner Cary Silkin visited before the show as well.

AEW book author Keith Elliot Greenberg was at the show.  AEW was selling signed copies of the AEW: This Book Is All Elite.

Vladimir The Superfan and Ringside Charlie were in attendance, ringside.

The legendary George Napolitano was in the house shooting photos.

The first names for the Continental Classic tournament are Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita.

Announced for Dynamite is Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue.

Mark Briscoe was presented with a special AEW TNT title belt after winning the championship from Kyle Fletcher:
