Why didn't WWF offer a wrestling contract to Sting aka Steve Borden when the UWF was going/gone out of business?
Sting was signed to a deal with Jim Crockett immediately and quite frankly, he wasn't a star at that point, so he wouldn't have popped up on the WWF's radar. He had just turned babyface but was some time away from the first Clash of the Champions making him a star for life in March 1988. He wasn't the star that he would later become, although the potential was there.
Whatever happened to Dave Finley?
He works as a Producer and Coach for the NXT brand.
Watching Lexis King in NXT makes me wonder a lot about Brian Pillman. How do you think his career would have gone if he hadn't passed when he did?
Assuming Pillman would have signed with WWE even without being in the wreck that destroyed his ankle, I think Pillman would have walked out with Bret Hart after the Montreal Screwjob if he could have. He had a lot of kids at the time, so perhaps Hart would have told him to stay, but if not, I absolutely believe Brian would have done what Rick Rude did and walked out. Had WWE blocked Pillman from leaving, as they did Owen Hart, he would have ended up a great heel foil for Steve Austin, the Piper to his Hulk Hogan, so to speak - but all of this hinges on Brian being healthy.
When do tickets go on sale for the WWE holiday show at Madison Square Garden?
They don't. There is no show this year. That tradition is done.
Why haven't we seen any UFC fighters wrestling in WWE yet?
My guess is that unless it's going to be something worthwhile for all involved, they are holding off. It doesn't do UFC or WWE any good to have that sort of crossover fail.
