Tonight's MLW special is a standalone broadcast. The promotion is not taping additional material tonight.
PWInsider.com is told that MLW will be using the same Volume style video sets that Lucasfilm uses for The Mandalorian to add to the ambiance of the broadcast presentation. We are told they woll be set behind the ring. The production team will be utilizing the same UNREAL engine that Gears of War, Streetfighter V and other video games use for their sets. We are told every match will have an immersive background.
MLW officials are thrilled with the reaction to their move to Charleston.
WCSC Channel 5 in Charleston has covered the move.
There will be several local networks covering the show tonight, either doing live remotes or producing pieces for tomorrow.
We are also told that MLW are planning to reroute their 2026 schedule to align with their pivot towards The Southeast. No word what this means for an NYC return at this time. We are told Chicago will remain in the mix.
