TNA dedicated this week's episode to the late George Tahinos, who passed away earlier this month following a cardiac event.
Tahinos was a great friend to all in professional wrestling and an amazing photographer.
A GoFund Me Campaign has been launched to assist the family of George Tahinos with his memorial and cremation expenses following his passing last week:
On Sunday, Nov. 9, we tragically lost our cousin George Tahinos to a fatal cardiac incident. We were understandably shocked and saddened to receive the news. Our grief was compounded by the fact that George had recently become estranged from his immediate family. We didn’t know where to turn, who to speak with or how to go about putting together the pieces of his life in recent years.
All of that changed after posting an announcement on his social media pages. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of tributes and condolences from his friends and work associates! It is obvious that George was beloved by many and respected by those within the professional wrestling community.
We would like to provide a meaningful celebration of George’s life and legacy. Unfortunately, in putting together the pieces of his last years, it's apparent that despite his successful work in sports photography and memorabilia, he passed away without an estate. Therefore, we have established this Go Fund Me page to help defray the costs of his cremation and memorial.
Thank you in advance for any contribution you can make. We will announce the memorial service details shortly.
