11/20 NJPW WORLD TAG LEAGUE RESULTS FROM TOKYO, JAPAN

From Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan:

Before the show, YOH comes out to ask for a 6-man match at Wrestle Kingdom 20, essentially putting up the NEVER Openweight 6-man Championship.  He gets the Korakuen Hall crowd to chant for him.   The young lions have to remove him from the ring so the show can start.

Hiroshi Tanahashi recorded a message to the crowd saying that Wrestle Kingdom 20 is sold out.   However, they are adding more seats and tickets will be available soon.

1 - Zane Jay, Lance Archer and Alex Zayne vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SANADA and Ren Narita

Narita forces Jay to submit to a Boston Crab.

2 - Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jakob Austin Young, Callum Newman and Great O-Khan

Oiwa traps Young in a half crab leg submission and get the submission win.

Newman is seething after the match.   An explosion of the United Empire is coming soon.

3 - Katsuya Murashima, El Phantasmo and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shoma Kato, Yuya Uemura and Shota Umino

Umino hits a lariat and pins Murashima.

4 - Gedo, Hiromu Takahashi and David Finlay vs. Daiki Nagai, OSKAR and Yuto-Ice

Lots of support from the Korakuen crowd for The Knockout Brothers.

Gedo, Hiromu and Finlay played up to the crowd.   OSKAR and Yuto played their heel roles perfectly.

Finlay picked up Hiromu and powerbombed him over the top rope onto the Knockout Brothers on the floor.   

Finlay hit a Jackknife Powerbomb on Nagai for the pin.

After the match, Hiromu and Yuto began talking trash and began brawling.   Finlay tried to pull Yuto off his partner, but OSKAR pulled Finlay to the side.  Hiromu and Yuto fought on the floor and had to be separated.

They announce the CMLL wrestlers coming to Fantastica Mania in February 2026.

World Tag League 2025 A Block Matches:

5 - Boltin Oleg and Toru Yano vs. Shuji Ishikawa and El Desperado

Yano hits a low blow on Ishikawa and rolls him up in a cradle for the pin.

Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg have 2 points.

Shuji Ishikawa and El Desperado have 0 points.

6 - Don Fale and EVIL vs. Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi

Both teams of House of Torture actually tried to wrestle each other.   Until the referee took a bump.  

Togo and Kanemaru rush to ringside and get in the ring.  Kanemaru offers a drink of whiskey to everyone.  They all get in a circle and take a hit of whiskey.   EVIL is the last to drink and spits his mouthful into Owens' face.   Fale pushes Yujiro into Owens who is blinded and Owens hits a DDT on Yujiro.   Everyone fights to the floor except EVIL who puts the Darkness Scorpion on Yujiro.

Yujiro taps out.

EVIL and Don Fale have 2 points.

Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi have 0 points.

EVIL sarcastically apologizes to Yujiro and Owens for their tricks.   House of Torture call a truce and 

7 - YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Satoshi Kojima and Taichi

Taichi hits a Black Mephisto on YOSHI-HASHI and gets the pin.

Taichi and Satoshi Kojima have 2 points.

Bishomon have 0 points.

8 - Gabe Kidd and Yota Tsuji vs. Drilla Moloney and Shingo Takagi

All four men brawl all over the building.  Moloney and Kidd pair off and hammer each other with stiff shots.  Takagi and Tsuji exchanged hard strikes on the floor.   Good match.   Takagi and Moloney pick up Kidd and hit a double Made in Japan.

Takagi pins Kidd.

Shingo Takagi and Drilla Moloney have 2 points.

Yota Tsuji and Gabe Kidd have 0 points.

Takagi and Moloney congratulate each other for the win.   They declare themselves the War Dragons for World Tag League.

As Takagi and Moloney celebrates with fans, YOH makes his way back into the ring and sits in the ring with his NEVER Openweight 6-man belt.   YOH roasts the young lions at ringside and makes them come into the ring.    YOH calls the New Japan commissioner to come to the ring.    YOH begs the commissioner to set up a NEVER Openweight 6-man Championship match.   The commissioner allows it. 

No announcement of a challenger yet.   

While it is only Night 1 of World Tag League, a prediction can be made for the upcoming winner of the tournament.   The Knockout Brothers are heels, so the winners will have to be babyfaces.  Bishomon could win the A Block.    Umino and Uemura could win the B Block.   Either would be good challengers at Wrestle Kingdom.
