SANTANA WANTS REVENGE, FINAL RESOLUTION COMES TOGETHER & MORE: TNA IMPACT ON AXS TV REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 2025-11-20 22:01:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's Impact Wrestling on AXS TV report.

The show opened with a graphic dedicating the show to the late George Tahinos, a great photographer and friend.  Kudos to TNA for that classy move.

We open with a look back at everything that has recently transpired.

Your announcers are Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt.

Mike Santana made his way to the ring at Full Sail Live in Orlando, Florida.    He told the fans that he loved them.  Santana said he was on top of the world a month ago after accomplishing his dream.  He got to celebrate that with the person who saved his life, his baby girl.  Last week, he got to celebrate 1000 days clean and sober.  24 hour later, it was all snatched from him.  It was taken.  They say we live life on life's terms, but when you think things are going good, life will humble you quick.  He's living proof.  Everything was taken from him.  For the first time on his journey, he was scared of himself.  He knew he couldn't react with rage and anger, so he had to check in with himself.  He went to a safe place.  He went to a meeting.  In that meeting, he realized a lot of things and one of them was that the fans deserved for him to be there. The fans pay their money for the wrestlers to give them an escape and an experience.  The fans rode with him when a lot of people didn't and he's eternally grateful for that.  He had it all in his hands and it was taken from him.  That made him want it that much more.  He said that Kazarian has something that belongs to him and he's coming for it.  He then said he was going to take out everyone from NXT that attacked him and when that's done, he's coming for the title.  This was a strong, authentic promo with Santana coming off serious, as opposed to just ranting about how angry he is.  This was a compelling promo and probably one of the best ever from Santana and one of the better promos anywhere of late.

Backstage, new TNA Champion Frankie Kazarian demanded an apology from Santino Marella, saying his investigation proves nothing that says Kazarian was involved in NXT's attack last week.  Marella said he gets it, Kazarian had nothing to do with it.  Santino says he has a meeting with JDC.  JDC showed up and said Kazarian looks like a Bon Jovi reject.  Kazarian asked when was the last time anyone cared about him and said he thought JDC retired and married a civilian handler.  JDC told him not to mention his wife and challenged Kazarian for a title shot.  Santino says if JDC beats Eric Young tonight, he can have a shot at Kazarian.  Kazarian was not thrilled this was ruled.

Dani Luna vs. Myla Grace vs. Rosemary vs. Indi Hartwell.

Everyone battled at the bell,  Indi drilled Rosemary with forarms and nailed slams on her and Grace.  Indi controlled the ring and scored several two counts.   When they returned from commercial, Rosemary was upsode down working over Indi while Luna was working over Grace.  Rosemary sent Grace into Luna.  Indi nailed several lariats for two counts but Luna broke up the pinfalls.  Luna nailed a big forearm but was pulled into a pinfall combination.  Everyone battled in the ring but Grace ascended to the top and nailed some high flying moves including a spinning dive to the floor on Rosemary.

Luna and Hartwell battled back and forth in the ring with strikes and kicks.  Hartwell missed a lariat and they clotheslined each other at the same time.  Rosemary pulled a steel chain from under the ring.  She was sent into the ring post by Grace.  Luna blasted Hartwell with the chain and pinned her.

Your winner, Dani Luna!

Eric Young cut a promo saying he was going to beat JDC and expose the world that Santino Marella is a corporate puppet.  He promised the Cleanse was coming.

They aired a Full Sail Live promo.

Santino Marella wondered how NXT got in at Turning Point.  Arianna Grace said that perhaps security left after Mike Santana entered.  Santino said perhaps they need to open the doors.  The Hardys and Steve Maclin agreed and offered their titles as bait.

Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner with Steph de Lander.

They brawled around the ring.  Warner was sent into the ring steps several times.  Warner cut him off and nailed Radio Silence and powerbomb for a two count.  He bit Cardona's face.  They battled back and forth.  Cardona nailed The Reboot for a two count.  He went for a Tomakaze but Warner broke free and nailed a Faceplant and a boot to the face for a two count.  Warner went to grab De Lander's purse but Cardona nailed a leg lariat for a two count.  De Lander put Warner's leg on the ropes.  Cardona argued with her.  She went to slap him but he grabbed her arm.  Warner blasted him with the purse and pinned Cardona.

Your winner, Mance Warner!

TNA Injury Report: Santana has a partially torn UCL.  Elijah is not cleared.

The NXT interlopers said they just did what TNA was already doing.  They are done waiting for their opportunities.  Stacks said everyone in the ring had it coming.  Stone said he already conquered TNA, but the other guys knew where the brains were at.  They said TNA is done.

Cardona cut a promo saying he's already ready.  Steph told Mance everything she learned from Cardona but not everything he knows.  He challenged Mance to an El Paso Street Fight for Final Resolution, reminding the world he's a Death Match King.

Myron Reed vs. John Skyler

Skyler attacked Reed early but Reed used his speed to evade and pivot.  Skyler cut him off and throttled Reed into the buckles for a two count.   Skyler controlled the ring for several minutes.  Reed made a comeback.  Skyler went to the floor.  Reed teased a dive but Skyler speared him through the ropes into the ring for a two count.    Reed nailed a Stundog Millionaire.  Backstage. Special Agent Zero had laid out The Rascalz.  Skyler nailed a leaping knee to the face but was drilled with a cutter.  Skyler went to the floor and walked away when he realized Reed was setting up a dive.  Unrelenting, Reed nailed one anyway  Jason Hotch came towards the ring as Reed hit a sunset flip into the ring.  Hotch grabbed Skyler to stop the momentum of the move and Skyler dropped down and held the ropes, pinning Reed.

Your winner, John Skyler!

They showed highlights of Leon Slater vs. Rich Swann at Turning Point.

AJ Francis told Swann he let First Class down at the PPV.  He said Francis didn't need to be out there and not only does he lose, but he shakes hands and hugs Slater.  Swann said it was just a little sportsmanship because the kid has it.  Francis said Slater is nothing and he isn't the future., Francis is.  Slater said that he and Swann just tore it up and he has respect for Swann but not for Francis.  Francis said in the 1990s, when children spoke out, they were beaten down.  Slater said if he wants to do something, he should.  He said he'll go to Santino and get a match.

They aired a vignette where the Elegance Brand was looking for Mr. Elegance.

Xia Brookside vs. Victoria Crawford vs. Jody Threat vs. Killer Kelly.

Everyone battled.  Xia battled Crawford while Threat and Kelly fought to the floor.  Xia cinched in an abdominal stretch.  Kelly was tossed to the floor but stopped herself and attacked Brookside.  Tessa Blanchard joined the announcers, complaining about how Crawford was being taken advantage of.  Tessa tried to help Victoria, who was down on the mat.  Kelly placed Xia on the top and used her hanging choke.  Threat dropkicked them both while they were tied to the tree of woe.  Threat nailed a double knee strike on Kelly.  Threat nailed a Michinoku Driver on Brookside.  Kelly locked a clutch on Threat, who fought to her feet and drove her backwards into the buckles.  Crawford nailed a kick on Kelly as Threat evaded it.  Threat and Victoria battled to the outside.  Xia nailed the Brooksy Bomb off the ropes on Kelly and pinned her,

Your winner, Xia Brookside!

Xia vs. Dani Luna in two weeks.

They aired a video package on Jada Stone.

Eric Young vs. JDC

Kazarian is at the commentary table.

JDC controlled the action early.  JDC nailed three rights and a discus lariat.  Young went to the floor, where JDC nailed him.  JDC faced off with Kazarian had words.  After a commercial, Young knocked JDC from the ring to the floor.  He worked over JDC's neck.   JDC made a comeback and scored several two counts.  Young went for a piledriver but was backdropped over.  He cut off JDC and nailed a beautiful flying elbow for a two count.  They went back and forth battling until Young was pinned.

Your winner, JDC!

They went off the air with Kazarian telling JDC he gets one title shot.

JDC vs. Kazarian is official for Final Resolution.
