They have a very healthy crowd.  Well over 900-1,000.  The show was done in conjunction with the Big Event EXS convention in the same arena earlier today.

Atlas Security in the house.

Nic Nemeth vs. The Amazing Red

This is the first time they have ever faced off.  They shook hands at the bell.

They locked up but broke clean.  They are being very cautious with each other early.  Nemeth snatched him and took Red to the mat, tying him up,  Red fought back to his feet only to have Nemeth trip him and take Red back to the mat.  Red made it to the ropes and they faced off.  They locked up with Nemeth forcing Red to the ropes, breaking free again.  They grappled to the mat with Red working over Nemeth's arm.  Red caught Nemeth with some hard chops in the corner.  Nemeth sold like he had been hit by a missile.

Red sent Nemeth to the floor but the former TNA Champion evaded Red as he went for a dive.  Red went for another but was caught with a forearm to the face as he came through the ropes.  Nemeth controlled Red, drilling him with several elbows for a two count.  Nemeth teased a chop but drilled Red low in the mid-section instead.  Nemeth worked him over with strikes and headbutts.  Red came back to reverse a whip into the corner with Nemeth shooting into the corner like he was The Flash.

Red fired up with right hands and nailed a standing hurancanrana.  Red drilled him in the corner with a kick.  Red nailed a twisting DDT for a close two count.  This is very good.  Red set up for Code Red but Nemeth blocked it and drilled Red, scoring a two count.  Nemeth teased a superkick but Red blocked it and hit a tornado kick.  Nemeth was sent to the floor.  Red hit a huge dive, bouncing off Nemeth and landing in the ringside seats.  That looked awesome.

Red tossed him back into the ring and went for a swanton, but Nemeth evaded it and drilled him with a superkick for a close two count.    Nemeth nailed a Famouser but Red kicked out.   Nemeth placed Red atop the ropes and they battled.  Nemeth attempted a superplex but was shoved off.  Nemeth rebounded and went right after Red again on the top, drilling him with headbutts.  Nemeth attempted to set up a superplex but was again shoved down to the ring below.  Red nailed a pair of frog splashes and pinned Nemeth clean.

Your winner, The Amazing Red!

Really fun match.  They told a good story.

They showed each other respect after and embraced.

Maki Itoh vs. Shayna Baszler.

They exchanged chops and strikes early with Baszler getting the early advantage.  Itoh came back to take Baszler to the mat for an armbar but Baszler countered.  Itoh nailed a back elbow that sent Baszler into the corner.  Itoh was caught and slammed to the mat.  Baszler stomped her elbow and tossed Itoh to the floor.  Baszler began working over Itoh's wrist and hand, trying to force a submission.  Baszler controlled the page of the match for some time.  She ran Itoh into the buckles, which served to anger Itoh as she psyched herself up.  Itoh nailed a big headbutt and followed up with a DDT.  Itoh worked over Baszler in the corner with right hands.

Itoh went for a Sharpshooter but Baszler kicked her away.  Itoh locked in a choke but Baszler transitioned it into an armbar.  Itoh escaped but was drilled with a big knee strike for a two count.    They battle back and forth.,  Itoh nailed the falling headbutt for a two count.   Itoh went to the top but was caught with a kick to the head.  Itoh nailed a twisting DDT off the ropes.  Itoh nailed a stunner for a close two count.  Baszler charged her but was kicked.  Itoh went for another twisting DDT koff the ropes but was caught and yanked into the Kerifuda Clutch.  The referee checked Itoh's arms but on the third drop, she gave the middle finger and electrified, tried to fight her way out.  Baszler sunk it in deeper and Itoh went out.

Your winner, Shayna Baszler!

Good match with some fun submission and strikes.  Itoh's colorful personality matches with Baszler's no-nonsense personality worked well.

Scramble Match to determine top contender for HOG Cruiserweight Championship: Angel Jaquez vs. JJ Doze vs. Joey Silver vs. Mantequilla vs. Shaukat vs. Raheem Royal

Shaukat is from APAC in Malaysia.

When the bell rang, music played and out came Cruiserweight Champion Daron Richardson.  Richardson took the mic and said they weren't going to have a top contender's match without him having a front row seat to watch.  The crowd chanted for him to shut up.

Jaquez does a Narcissist deal with mirrors, so everyone mocked his poses and stepped in front of him.  Even Richardson joined in.  Jaquez walked up the aisle upset.

Everyone battled and there were a lot of near falls.  Way too much going on for me to recap.  Joey Silver defeated Mantequilla to win.

Richardson attacked everyone with a chair and laid them out.  He cut a ;promo saying none of them are going to be winning his title.  He ran to the top of the bleachers, preening.  He's got the cocky act down.

Idris Jackson vs. mystery opponent Killer Kross

Kross told Jackson and his mouthpiece Hillary P. Wisdom to shut their mouths.  He said they were looking for a fight and so was he, so let's fight.   Jackson clotheslined him in the corner but Kross returned with one of his own.  Jackson nailed several chops but they weren't hurting Kross.  Jackson tried to beg off but was grabbed and throttled over the top to the floor.    Jackson's manager distracted Kross, allowing Jackson to jump him and gain control, working over Kross for some time.

Kross began to fire up with shots to the mid-section but was taken down and nailed with a series of elbows for a two count.   Kross came back with a big German release suplex and and drilled Jackson with a DVDR.  Jackson used the tights to roll up Kross for a two count and nailed a leaping elbow off the ropes for another pinfall attempt.    Wisdom hit Kross with s DDT as the referee was distracted.  Kross came back with a big spear and a lariat. Kross nailed a clothesline in the corner, followed by an elbow.  He drilled Jackson with a Saito suplex.  Kross locked in the Kross Jacket and Jackson tapped.

Your winner, Killer Kross!

Kross drilled the hell out of Wisdom with a headbutt, KOing him after the match.

The crowd saw Kross as a star for sure.  Jackson worked really hard to make Kross look like a monster.

Allie Katch & Priscilla Kelly vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Scarlett Bordeaux

Kelly and Scarlett started with Kelly attacking and bititng her. Katch and Kelly had control early, nailing hip attacks in the corner on Shotzi and Scarlett.  Katch worked over Bordeaux with elbows to her back.  She and Kelly tagged in and out, controlling the flow.  Katch nailed a dropkick on Scarlett, sending her to the floor.  Kelly tossed her back in the ring but found herself being hit by a Shotzi cannonball off the apron to the floor.

Scarlett came back to nail a kick to the gut and cinched in a rear chinlock.  Shotzi and Scarlett began tagging in and out, beating on Kelly.  Shotzi brought a staple gun into the ring but the referee took it away.  As he did, Shotzi and Scarlett stomped away on her.  Shotzi drilled Kelly into the ropes.  Scarlett nailed a hip attack in the corner.  Katch tagged in and hit a sit-down senton splash.  She drilled Shotzi with a lariat and nailed an enziguiri.  Katch drilled her with another clothesline, scoring a two count.

They continued to battle back and forth.  Katch went for a pedigree but it was blocked.  Shotzi used a backslide for a two count.  She sent Katch into the ropes, where a waiting Bordeaux used the staple gun on her several times.  Katch stumbled into Shotzi, who nailed a DDT and scored the pin.

Your winner, Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux!

Everyone worked hard here.

Intermission time.

HOG Champion Charles Mason vs. Dezmond Xavier

Good action early on with Xavier hitting a double stomp for a two count.  Mason has really put together a nice American Psycho-tinged character.  He cut off Xavier and nailed a DDT on the apron, then hit a basement dropkick to the outside.  Mason worked him over on the floor and sent Xavier into the barricade.  He choked Xavier on the floor with a shirt.  He chopped Xavier on the floor and ran him into the ring post.

They battled back to the ring, where Xavier tried to battle back from behind.  Mason fishhooked his face to cut him off and then nailed a lariat.  Mason scored several two counts.  He cinched in a sleeper.  Mason came off with a double stomp but Xavier moved.  Mason went back to the sleeper but Xavier pushed off the buckles into a pinfall combination.  Mason slipped out and locked in a rear naked choke on the mat.  Xavier fought back and nailed some offensive maneuvers but Mason snatched him with a DVDR for a near fall.  The crowd rallied Xavier.

Mason fishhooked him again and nailed a lariat thay turned him inside out....but no, Xavier landed on his feet.  He drilled Mason and nailed a double knee strike.  He nailed the Cardiac Kick but Mason put his feet across the bottom rope when the challenger scored the pinfall attempt.  Xavier nailed a shoulder tackle on the floor and tossed the champ back in.  Xavier nailed Mason,  Mason came back and nailed a Gotch style tombstone piledriver for the pin.

Your winner and still champion Charles Mason!

Very good match.

Mason's nose got busted open towards the end of the match.

Mason grabbed a ringside chair and raised it to strike Xavier but Zachary Wentz hit the ring for the save.  Mason bolted.

Wentz cut a promo after saying he thought it was time they went after the HOG Tag Team Champions, The Hardys. This brought out the former champions Mane Event.  They said the Hardys took something from them they need back, the Tag belts.    Wentz said they want the same thing.  He said HOG has a show next week in Chicago, so they should face off there with the winners getting the title shot at The Hardys in December.

APAC Women's Champion Nor Phoenix Diana vs. Mercedes Mone

Mone had a big entrance with all 12 of her titles carried out.  She had a big ring introduction running down all her titles.  Lots of CEO chants.

This was only the second time Diana had wrestled in the United States and it's her first title defense in the States.

They locked up with Diana taking Mone down several times and scoring several pinfall combinations for near falls.  Mercedes blocked a waistlock takedown and backed Diana into the corner.  Diana nailed several armdrag takedowns.  Diana caught her with a fisherman's suplex for a two count.   Mone went to the floor to break up the momentum.  Mone asked for a time out, but that wasn't going to happen.  Mercedes faked a handshake but attacked Diana.

Diana escaped a wheelbarrow takedown but was caught in a second.  Diana nailed a basckstabber but Mone went to the floor.  Diana hit a nice tope suicida to the outside.  They battled back to the ring with Mone nailing a Meteora in the corner.  Mone used her boot to smother Diana in the corner and stomped away at her in a disrespectful manner.    Mone nailed a dropkick to prevent a comeback, then stepped atop of her.  Mone dropped a pair of knees across her sternum.

They battled back and forth.  Mone nailed the Three Amigos.  Big Eddy chant.  Diana escapes and locked Mone in a crossface submission.  Mone fought her way to the ropes,  Mone fought out of it but was taken down into a pinfall combination.  Diana nailed a discus clothesline.  They battled and nailed a double clothesline, taking the other down in stereo.  Mone drilled Diana with a backcracker but was stunned when Diana kicked out.

They battled to the top, where Mone was knocked off the ropes and hit with a bodypress.  Diana nailed her neckbreaker finisher but Mone draped her foot across the ropes.  They battled to the floor, where Diana was sent into the apron, the barricade.  They battled back into the ring, where Mone nailed a Lungblower and a Mone Maker for the pin.

Your winner and new APAC Women's Champion, Mercedes Mone!

Real good main event.  Diana looked like she belonged in the ring with Mone and showed some great offense.

That's all from NY tonight!

HOG returns to Chicago this Friday with The Amazing Red vs. Tyler Breeze for the first time ever and more.
