Spotlight Match: Jake Gray vs 23 Hazard
Apparently, I’ve seen Hazard before. I don’t remember this. He looks like Dollar Tree Malibu Nick Gage. Maybe I’m in the Kazaam starring Sinbad universe? He’s very loud and obnoxious. He’s here to catch a body. He THROWS a body pretty well. Jake gray battles back and gets the win on a sliced bread.
All the Attention is out here. They are ready to expand their roster with another viral sensation. Big Trouble Ben Bishop!
Match 1: All the Attention (Nico Batee & Jose Zamora) and Big Trouble Ben Bishop vs Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister, TJ Crawford & Love Doug)
Big Business has their way with ATA. Bishop isn’t really motivated to walk into a 3 on 1 with the Buisness boys so he waits his turn, knees TJ in the back and tags in to do some big damage to Doug and TJ. Bishop is huge. Bacon finally gets tagged in and he ring generals his crew into action. Bishop and Batee are sent to the floor. Zamora kicks out of a powerbomb from bacon but a second one does the trick. Big Business is heading into Novembercanrana on a big high.
But then the Stetson Ranch music hits. Oh yea, the Ranch won the Open tag titles on Monday. Steve says that Big Business wants a shot at their titles? They don’t control things. Stetson wants an explanation. Bacon decides to humor him….but he leads the spelling chant! Stetson says just for that, Big Business has to beat an opponent of his choosing if they want a shot.
Match 2: Lady Leigh vs Allie Katch
A huge debut and a huge return in our second match! Katch starts well but starts getting overwhelmed by the powerhouse that is Leigh. Allie with the comebacks she sets up the piledriver but Leigh escapes. Allie grabs an arm wrench into a hard lariat for the win!
Match 3: Dustin Waller vs Eye Black Jack
Dustin thinks this is the house that he and Kylon built. Jack immediately on him with a mission to prove that sentiment VERY wrong. Dustin is having such a bad time of things that he tries to leave. Jack gives chase but of course that lets Waller take advantage. Dusty giving the beatdown but Jack rallies back. A huge powerslam can’t get the three. Just before Jack goes for the real finish, Kylon along runs in and attacks. Dustin gets DQ’d but Miracle Generation takes their time laying EBJ out cold. Dustin says he wants to fight again in a No DQ match. Waller says he still has a lesson to teach the BIOPro grad.
Match 4: RJ Rude (w/ Rex Lawless) vs Jermaine Marbury (w/ Benny the Basketball)
It’s going REALLY bad for RJ. The crowd is right behind Marbury with the Go Jermaine Go Jermaine Go! Rex hops on the apron to provide distraction before RJ gets completely steamrolled. RJ take advantage and keeps Jermaine down for a couple minutes at least. Marbury starts rolling again, Rex tries the distraction again but Marbury lets RJ runs into Lawless. Jermaine with the rollup and the three!!!!
It’s another two on one beatdown as the Residency takes their bad sportsmanship out on Jermaine. Pedro Dones runs down with a tire iron to drive them off…and he challenges Rex to a match!
Match 5: Pedro Dones (w/ Jermaine Marbury) vs Rex Lawless (w/ RJ Rude)
Rex is on the receiving end of this fight until Dones gives him too many seconds to breath, Pedro gets caught and slammed hard. The big man beating begins. It’s goes long. Dones finally dodges a running senton and does a crucifix pin for the three! The Residency is completely out of sorts after these back to back L’s!
It’s time for the first half of our double main event! Christian Darling is out first. He gets the crowd to cheer for Rich Palladino. He’s decided to stop messing with Rich directly. He’s gonna take out all of our favorites and Rich will have to announce his wins week in and week out. THAT is revenge.
Main Event 1: Christian Darling vs Big Boofa Dezmond Cole
Boofa says “watch the feel” and decks this dweeb. Cole just moving 100mph and keeping Darling completely out of sync. And it’s working…but Christian catches a rana into a powerbomb and the dweeb starts to bully Boofa. Cole is able to slip free of the ongoing onslaught some of the time but when Darling lands, it’s huge. Christian seems to have adjusted to some of Cole’s timing….but not all. A big vertical suplex and rolling legdrop almost gets Cole the three! Cole with a trouble in paradise! Boofa hits the running boot, superkick, fallaway German, shining wizard combo….Darling kicks out! Cole slips out of the TKO but Christian rolls him up and Ref Biller misses the feet on the ropes entirely. Christian Darling gets the three. Booooo!
Main Event 2: Simply the Best (BRG & Oxx Adams) vs Fancy Ryan Clancy & Alec Price
Alec Price is back at Wrestling Open! Huuuuuge pop for the returning Northeast Beast! BRG is very much a punching bag for Clancy, Price and an excited Worcester crowd during these opening minutes. Oxx does what Oxx does best, which is save the match for a failing BRG, getting control back and handing a weakened opponent t back to BRG on a platter. So then BRG makes like his fortunes are all his making while he beats on Fancy, mocking Price all the time. Clancy finally gets the tag, Alec hits all the right notes! He sent StB to the floor! Price with a dive but Adams catches him! Clancy makes the save back in the ring! Price wipes out Oxx with a second dive! Suuuuuuprize kick to BRG! It’s looks over…Christian Darling runs in and wipes out Price!
Simply the Best are DQ’d! Oxx gives Clancy and Price a double chokeslam. BRG & Oxx are happy to be standing over these two as Christian Darling runs the crowd down for our disrespect to all of them. Darling tells Price to find two guys to meet him and StB next week! Boo says the crowd. I like this immediate storyline payoff for Darling. Like a proper dweeb, he’s found himself a big ally in Oxx Adams…and I guess BRG too.
