Fightful.com reported this evening that former TNA Champion Joe Hendry has signed with WWE.
PWInsider.com had been working on the story this evening when Fightful broke the news and we can independently confirm the story is correct.
We can also confirm through our own sourcing that Hendry's TNA deal was slated to expire at the end of December. The plan had been for Hendry to sign with WWE when his existing TNA deal expired. However, sources within both companies have confirmed that WWE stepped in to acquire his deal to expedite the situation. Hendry had signed with TNA back in 2022 after a run in Ring of Honor, using his musical talents to create a true DIY buzz for himself internationally.
Hendry is now listed internally on the WWE NXT roster and he is officially with the company full-time going forward.
