Expect WWE to give a big promotional push to the 12/20 AAA Guerra de Titanes event in Guadalajara, Mexico. Rey Mysterio is already confirmed to appear at the event, which is set for Arena Guadalajara, a new 20,000-seat arena. We are told this will be pushed as a big show on level of the recent Worlds Collide broadcast, which likely means it will be streamed on YouTube.
Before that event, Hijo del Vikingo and Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano and Axiom vs. Octagon Jr. vs. Je'Von Evans are set for the 11/22 AAA event in Mexico City at Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera. Mixed Tag Team Champions Ethan Page & Chelsea Green are also slated for the event.
AAA's 11/28 event in Pueblo, Mexico will feature AAA Tag Team Champions Psycho Clown and Pagano vs. American Made.
We are told that internally, WWE has around 60 talents listed for the AAA roster.
El Mesias, aka former TNA star Ricky Bandera (Judas Mesias in TNA) is one of the names listed on the AAA roster internally. Mesias, 50, returned to AAA in March 2024, one month before the WWE acquisition of the lucha promotion was announced at Wrestlemania 41. Mesias had a long run there from 2006 through 2018 and has also worked for MLW, CMLL, WWC, Lucha Underground and MTV's Wrestling Society X over his extended run in the business. Mesias had a great feud with Abyss while in TNA.
Marisela Pena paid tribute to Eddy Guerrero, who was a major star as a member of Los Gringos Locos before he became a star in the United States:
A 20 años de su partida, recordamos a Eddie Guerrero.
