You mentioned PWG hasn't run in years. Do we have any idea why? I keep seeing a fan complaining their last show was never put out on DVD on social media.
Super Dragon, who owned and ran the promotion, announced in late 2023 that the promotion was taking a hiatus as his girlfriend was battling cancer. It goes without saying that his family should be where all of his energy is. I don't know if or when the promotion will run again, and honestly, while I get why people loved it, it's not important if it returns. What's important is the health and happiness of Super Dragon's family. Anyone complaining they can't get a DVD of a show when someone's loved one was battling such a heinous disease is someone who doesn't care about anyone but themselves.
Where can I find early Roxanne Perez matches?
I would suggest the WatchROH.com website as her matches as Rok-C against Miranda Alize, which were some of the best highlights of the final year of the promotion when it was owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, can all be streamed there.
What was the dumbest thing you ever saw someone do at a show?
Anyone who ever tried to cross the rail and challenge a pro wrestler is pretty much tied. Fans throwing chairs and garbage in the ring is just as dumb. I've seen lots of fans do things that interrupt shows to make it about themselves and it always comes off moronic.
Two truly dumb incidents do come to mind as I write this. Once, I saw Shane Douglas grab a chair from ringside in the ECW Arena, but a fan grabbed it and tried to stop him. Shane shoved the chair in the fan's face, breaking his glasses and then went on to do whatever he was using the chair for.
Another time, The Dudleys incited a fan in the old Elks Lodge to the point he climbed out of the balcony and dropped to the floor, but once he did, he had Atlas Security and The Dudleys to all contend with and suddenly lost his liquid courage before being thrown out. I don't know what his strategy was going to be but whatever it was, it was dumb and it was going to fail!
Thoughts on Alize and Newell walking out of AEW?
They weren't under contract and could do what they wanted, but being mad about being asked to lose in three minutes is silly to me in 2025. One, they weren't signed. Two, by balking at losing, they certainly weren't going to put themselves into a position where they could be offered a deal. If you are brought in to be a supporting player (as they were, since they booked as local extras since they are from Texas), you can't be mad you aren't featured over the contracted talents. It would be like a zombie being mad Daryl Dixon was getting the shine. I also don't think losing on AEW was going to cost them future bookings or anything like that. What indy promoter who was going to book them was now not going to, because they "lost on AEW TV?" I wish them well but don't know if this was the best decision as it obviously closed a door to potential contracts for them. I just feel like WWE released Newell and now she walked out of where she could have potentially made the most money (if they got locked in there with a deal), so what's the next choice for her and Alize? There isn't a ton of money on the independent scene like there was years ago. TNA is pretty much WWE-adjacent. Japan doesn't pay like it once did. The landscape is different. But, I wish them the best. I've always though Alize was completely underrated and deserved a spot somewhere. Newell is very good. We will see what happens for them in the future.
How long before Bron Breakker is WWE Champion?
I think unless something stupid or unforseen happens, it's just a matter of time.
